I had a great experience with Southeast Restoration. David Rodriguez and Diego were here promptly at 9:30 on a Saturday, checked insulation and floor boards for dampness and mold, pulled out all of the wet carpet and padding, and set up fans. They carefully put down covering on the wood floor in family room so no damage would be done when bringing in fans and hauling out carpet. SE Restoration sent a technician out Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to check floors, carefully removing equipment on Wednesday so new carpet can be installed. A wonderful team to work with and I must add the office staff made sure each visit was accommodating to my schedule!

I am beyond impressed with Southeast Restoration and their entire crew! This whole ordeal began with a toilet tank crack that lead to the flooding of my house (both levels) while I was on vacation. The night the leak was found, Southeast sent their water mitigation crew out ASAP to put up fans and tear out floors. The whole process went seamlessly after that. I am grateful for the high level of communication (I received text updates regularly), efficiency of the crews, quality of the work, and kindness of the staff. My project manager, Dmitriy, was outstanding! He was helpful, patient, and kind throughout each step. My floors, walls, and ceilings have never looked better!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Southeastern Restoration. We gave them a call after we returned home from a trip to find the upstairs sink had a leak that seeped into the floors and below ceiling. Southeastern Restoration showed up within the hour and placed fans to dry out the mess. David Rodregez, Ethan, David, and Angel were very thorough and cleaned up any mess they had made. They were all incredibly friendly and comforting to make certain we felt at ease with the process.

We have used Southeast Restoration for two different home repairs after water damage was incurred. Dave Inabnit has been our project manager for both and we were lucky to have him. Their work is great, they are professional & on time. The team works with you to get all repairs done with the least disturbance possible. I highly recommend the Southeast team!

This review covers work on Evelyn Smith’s house in Jasper, GA. We got SE Restoration’s name as a list of suggestions from Evelyn’s home owner’s insurance agent. tl;dr – Overall, SE Restoration has been very easy to work with, and I have full confidence in their professionalism and value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend them to other people needing mid- to large-sized projects done. Evelyn’s home had a roof leak over the bay window, rotting out siding, windows that had been incorrectly installed and were crooked/not able to close, and the roof vent had been broken, allowing squirrels into her attic. Both Evelyn and my wife and I have been burned by fly-by-night contractors in the past; some of the work that a prior contractor had done just over a year ago on her home is already falling apart due to poor craftsmanship, and poor materials. SE Restoration sent out an estimator that went over everything that was critical to fix, and pointed out a few things that I hadn’t noticed that we now know *also* need to be addressed. The estimator got back to us quickly with a very, very detailed scope of work. Honestly, it was the scope of work and estimate that sold me; it was, IIRC, six pages, and had a cost breakdown for everything. It was the most professional looking estimate and SoW that I’ve seen from a contractor since leaving Chicago. (…And Chicago is only that good because you have to get permits for everything, and the city inspects all work.) Due to the timing, SE Restoration was able to start almost as soon as we were able to move money to cover the costs of work. The project manager met me at the site, went over additional details, took the initial payment, and the first set of work began the following week. The biggest wait so far has been the replacement windows; those had to be custom ordered, and took several weeks to be delivered. During all of this time, the project manager sent us weekly updates by text message to let us know exactly where everything stood. When there was an unexpected change in materials costs, the PM called promptly, went over what our options were, and sent out a change order to us. (Windows ended up being more than expected, and we opted to go with single hung instead of double hung replacements; the slight increase in window costs was offset by the framing carpenters being able to reduce costs in another area.) The windows should be installed tomorrow, pending weather, which will complete the work. Overall, from first contact to completion, it should have been about two months, which seems very reasonable considering that most of the delay was on our end moving funds.
