Rod, Heather, and Monica were so incredibly helpful!! With getting treatment in our business unit that has not been constructed yet, we were without electricity. We were directed to Mold Solutions through their sister company, Real Duct Cleaning, via a recommendation by a Mold Assessor who came to inspect our newly purchased house for mold after we noticed a strong musty odor in one of the bedrooms. We’ve never had to deal with an issue like this before, so we didn’t know what to expect, but our first contact, Rod from Real Duct Cleaning, was excellent in informing us of our options, and what they could accomplish with the specialized mold treatments and cleaning. We then met with Alicia and Devin from Mold Solutions, who came to the house to do a closer inspection of the possible locations where mold could be growing. We went with their recommendation to remove the flooring in the bedroom and a piece of drywall in the kitchen, along with some duct work, a thorough sanitizing of the entire HVAC system, and fogging. We are extremely happy with results – the house smells like a different place; fresh and clean, with no trace of mustiness. We’re also very pleased with the service of everyone involved in the process: Devin, Darien, Monica and Heather all came out to work on the project (and maybe another man who was ripping out flooring, but I didn’t get a chance to meet?). Everyone was very knowledgeable, polite and pleasant, working diligently to get this messy job completed within two days. They cleaned up very well afterwards, leaving everything as it was before – except for the mold, of course. Even our furniture, which had been in storage for a couple of years, smelled better after the fogging! We were able to come back to the house each evening, as no toxic chemicals were used in the cleanings, so we felt very good about the air quality. We are so happy to have found a local, small business that truly cares about doing a great job. We will definitely be hiring them again in the future for our crawl space remediation project.
