I called several companies before I call them and got answering services and a few companies has some abrupt people answering the phones. A nice woman answered all of my questions and didn’t try pushing or scaring me into going with them. I am really happy with the end result. It was a really stressful situation but my kitchen is dry and they did such a good job removing just the wet cabinets that couldn’t be saved and saving the rest. I hope this never happens again but I would use them again if it ever did and I’m really grateful that they left me with a useable kitchen!

This company is a complete scam. Feel free to contact me for details related to my experience. Essentially, they will ask for you to pay them your homeowners deductible in order to start the job, which will “go towards the rebuild.” If you decide not to go with them for the rebuild, they will keep a portion of the deductible based on their estimate/quote for the rebuild. My rebuild scope included charges for things that didn’t need to be done (i.e fireplace repair, drapery repair, taking appliances off the wall/ceilings etc, and replacing them, laying concrete to even the floor)…The damage that occurred in my house was in the master bath, and yet I was still going to be charged for “fireplace repair”…when I questioned this, the owner told me that he needed to account for IF there was a fireplace. They have ridden off into the sunset with my deductible and I can’t get a hold of them. Meanwhile, they have been double paid by State Farm and myself. Already filed with BBB…my advice would be to choose any other company than Disaster Recovery “Pros.”

Patrick came out to assess our attic the same day and was extremely thorough. Made us feel extremely comfortable to proceed with work on our house! Very pleased!

PREVIOUS EMPLOYER REVIEW HERE: When I first met the owners, Jill & Sean Wise, I was soliciting my estimating services. ( Basically, I was looking to assist with their overflow and help write emergency service & rebuild estimates in xactimate ) At that time they had it all under control, but we kept in touch. Then I was put in contact with their Mitigation Manager, Mark Friedman. Mark & I met about 3 times to share ideas and discuss the restoration business. We had great laughs & conversations. After the 3rd meeting, I was asked to come into the office and meet the owners & again to see if we can work together. The estimator position was filled. They offer me a different position in-house as a QC Quality Control Supervisor to do HYbrid work (field & office) alongside another talented Manager, Gabe. Gabe was amazing to work with. He handled all the scheduling for all the amazing techs, he set my daily schedule for site visits. He is the machine that keeps the tech moving. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the staff there. Joss the Office manager, The New Kim & previous Kim are both amazing at handling the office phone calls. Then there’s the charismatic, infamous Jim Romano, “The workhorse for the Rebuild/reconstruction” The Italian stud, visits clients’ homes to scope their properties and carefully listens to their client’s needs. Jim then writes an estimate that will ensure that you get your home’s reconstruction “Put-Back” to a pre-loss condition. From ceiling to floor. SIDE NOTE ABOUT JIM : Don’t leave Lasagna on your table, he may not get anything done! (just kidding, Jim) I don’t and will not forget to mention the front-line soldiers working AM/PM hours on call after hours, on holidays, and their birthdays. the first to arrive during any emergency service: Floods, water damages, fire, mold, bio-hazard……Let’s introduce the amazingly talented & IICRC CERTIFIED mitigation technicians: Garret (Florida Native), Zac (amazing Dad), Germain Dupree ( Always ready to work with a smile), Jayce (skateboarder), *Big Nic (*the apprentice architect), the newlywed from Michigan, Caleb & the big strong Filipino, Patrick. I enjoyed meeting all of you & every client I met was a true blessing! I will miss you all. I wish the utmost best for Disaster Recovery Pros & Disaster Rebuild Pros. My house was hit by the hurricane in August 2024. Disaster Recovery was at my house the very next day mitigation the water damage. They are extremely resposnive and i had a permit issue, that the Disaster Recovery successfully solved for me, which took many months of their time. They are very professional and always willing to do anything for a happy client. I HIGHLY Recommend.

I want to thank Patrick, Jace, Darrell, Gavin and Paul, the fantastic team that work for Disaster Recovery Pros. They came to my house and just worked with ease, professionalism and determination. Special thanks to Paul Demeo who was very professional, understanding and there for me, the customer. Paul was very patient with me because he had to explain so much, quite a few times, cause I didn’t quite get the big picture at first. Our bathtub drained from our second floor to the downstairs. Disaster recovery pros responded quickly to get the area dried out and prevent mold/moisture damage.
