I do NOT recommend BioClean. They have held up my moving process for WEEKS and have made an already incredible stressful situation (me being permanently displaced due to mold in my rental) even more stressful. I cannot plan my move until I get a quote for remediation of my personal items and every day when I call I’m told that “the technician is working on it”. I now have to scramble to find someone else so I can move in 4 days. I am beyond frustrated and upset.

Bio clean claimed that they completed service after they had made me wait around all day and the technician never showed. But the bill came. It took a conversation, but they were able to figure out that the technician did not show. Even still, they have sent me emails constantly asking to give them a review. With no way to opt out of the emails. Here is your review.

Unfortunately, I’ve had a mixed experience with BioClean CT. The initial consultation on the work required, detailed billing, prompt replies, and servicing were all excellent. During the mold remediation work at home, I had some difficulties getting updates at the end of each day to see where the team was. Since BioClean recommended we not be home during the remediation, I worked remotely from my in-laws and wanted to ensure the house was kept unlocked for a short time. An accident occurred while the remediation work was being performed. One of the workers slipped on an attic joist and fell through the ceiling. BioClean was very transparent about the incident, and it was patched and painted quickly. I appreciated how they responded to the incident; luckily, no one was injured. After the patchwork was completed and the final payment was provided, I noticed a powerful smell (non-bleachy) coming from the attic. I contacted BioClean CT about it, and they asked me to wait a bit to see if it dissipated. It’s been almost a month, and the smell is still quite strong. I spoke to Tommy a few times, and he promised to contact me to see if someone could come by to investigate, but I have yet to receive a callback. I have to take the initiative to talk to someone each time. Their customer communication skills do not match the quality of their mold remediation work. Given my experience, I can’t recommend them. Once they were paid, my issue was more of an afterthought. The smell could be nothing, but it isn’t being taken seriously, considering it’s lasted so long.

I had an estimate done for mold removal and everyone at BioClean was so helpful and professional throughout. I ended up going with a different company that was cheaper, but was not providing the same level of work that BioClean planned to do (just due to my very limited budget — I think BioClean would have done a better job), and it was even easy to cancel with them! They refunded my deposit without any trouble. I would definitely recommend getting an estimate. The technician I worked with was Sal and he was very helpful and knowledgeable, and everyone I talked to at the office was great.

Bio Clean is an awesome company to work with, we called them to do check out our mold issue in the house, we were getting mold on the ceilings around the exterior wall in certain places in a few rooms. Sal was our inspector and right off the bat I liked him because he was so friendly, polite & knowledgeable. He asked to see the attic first and when i opened the pull down stairs he said there is one of your problems and stated the bathroom vent fan hose was not properly installed, then he noticed all the baffles in the soffits were blocked by insulation, so no air flow in the attic and the steam from showers was venting into attic causing moisture and we had a ton of black mold on the inside of the roof.Sal noticed the basement had no dehumidifier to clear moisture in basement which was another issue. Sal gave a detailed estimate within a week that we felt was a great price for cleaning all the mold off the ceilings and in cabinets, then the installation of a commercial dehumidifier in basement, a new bathroom light & fan that would be venting properly through the roof, a large attic vent fan & lastly pulling back the insulation and installing vents above the baffles to let air into the attic. Sal had the job foreman Tommy work with us with any questions or issues weeks before the job was going to be done and he was also friendly and answered all my questions. The crew that came to do the job was Howard & Santiago and another guy which i forgot his name but they were awesome and did a great job. I would recommend Bio clean for your mold issues. thanks so much for a job well done
