I worked with David on a difficult Asbestos Abatement issue at a property and he was always available for anything I needed. He handled every part of the process as a commensurate professional, and exhibited grace when dealing with the frustrations of homeowners that are an expected part of asbestos issues.

Stay away. This company tried to absolutely fleece us. David Rope tried to charge us between 100k and 140k for a major asbestos spill here in Denver. Another company bid at 91k with a third coming in significantly lower. The kicker….the company CRC brought in to document the spill for the state misclassified the small cut that was made to fix a leaking pipe. In the end, the state rescinded the major spill designation. Five of the occupants were out of their units for two months. On top of everything else, CRC representative, David Rope, couldn’t answer the most basic abatement questions, the answers could be found on page fix of the report he provided. Also CRC doesn’t even list asbestos abatement on their website, which begs the question….what the hell were they doing here??? Addition 6-18-24: the company stated the new bids were less because they were based on a reevaluation. This is wholly untrue. The bids were placed based on the initial evaluation from REX, which is what CRC had. Also, in an email where CRC answered a specific question related to its expertise, it stated, ‘David (Rope) has extensive experience since he’s been in the industry for many years, he is not certified for asbestos…’. The reevaluation, alluded to in CRC’s response, deemed the major spill a minor spill and mandates got changed to recommendations. Finally, when it says it is equipped to handle such situations as part of its comprehensive restoration services, it means, ‘we can hire a third party, at a grossly inflated cost, to do the asbestos abatement. ‘ This whole thing was caused because CRC did not do its due diligence and see if everything done in the unit was to code before calling in the unqualified REX. This company still can’t get its facts straight.

As a property manager for retail centers, it is crucial to have reliable and responsive vendors in the event of emergencies. I have experienced two major incidents involving excess water damage, sewage and wall repairs that required immediate action, remedial services and restoration. I called Commercial Restoration Company (CRC) and they responded to my requests immediately. The entire team was proactive, courteous, professional and helpful! The rapid response to the circumstances was extremely beneficial and the frequent communication and progress reports were incredibly valuable. I highly recommend CRC for reliable restoration and general contracting!
