This is the second time I’ve had to use Steve and his staff at Qwik Response. Besides being really nice people, they are profession, punctual and EXCELLENT at what they do. From start to finish, they do a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any type of mold remediation, demolition and reconstruction.

Cheyne Knight and his team (Charlie and Savana, whom I worked with) were all great and very responsive. They were helpful in walking us through the process as repairing surprise water damage is not something we are used to dealing with every day; they are very used to it. They are professional and know their business well. I would recommend their services here on the Central Coast.

WOW. Nothing but professionalism from the time the phone was picked up to the the last drop of paint drying. The emergency crew arrived promptly, the explained everything. Their equipment was clean and well maintained. They taped down all of their cords and hoses to prevent tripping and took all of my art work into consideration when they set their equipment up. 10/10 will call them again if I need them.

QwikResponse did a good job with the mold remediation and kitchen renovation. They were respectful of safety measures during Covid-19 restrictions. They made suggestions and incorporated our input feedback. We were able to get all of our questions and requests answered. The work seems to be quality work and materials. Compared to some other people we spoke with and estimates that we got, Qwik Response gave us the best impression and seems to have delivered. Everybody at QwikResponse seemed to be knowledgeable. If folks didn’t have an answer for us, they would connect us with people who did instead of making things up. They were patient, professional, and helpful with all of my newbie questions. The office staff at QwikResponse impressed me with their timeliness and follow-through. Everybody I spoke with was professional and helpful. They do seem dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. All of the staff I spoke with had great follow-through and professionalism. In particular, Kevin Smith impressed me with his knowledge and honesty about my options for mold remediation. Charlie Baker seems to really know his stuff and did a great job explaining the different options, forms, line items, etc. to me – somebody who is new to all of this as this is my first remodel/remediation. Steven Delgadillo was extremely helpful navigating invoices and payments. This was my first mold remediation/renovation. I am grateful to the entire QwikResponse team for helping me through the process, doing quality work, and all of the scheduling and communication and everything else that goes into it.

RE: QwikResponse (QR) emergency services and general contractor services Having sustained a large leak that caused around $80,000 damage, we contracted with QR for both emergency services and reconstruction services. The emergency services that entailed removing drywall, insulation and hardwood flooring were accomplished with rapidity and efficiency. The subsequent drying period and surveillance was well documented and the multiple visits to our home always accomplished on time. We were visited on many occasions by the president of QR, Steve Knight, checking on progress and planning for reconstruction. The reconstruction entailed hardwood floor, baseboard and toe-kick reinstallation, drywall application, insulation, painting, caulking, and was accomplished with the same efficiency and attention to detail. Difficult problems and their solutions are what define the integrity of a contractor. We have built two new homes and remodeled another. Anyone who has done the same knows that all cannot go smoothly at all times. The hardwood installation, installed by a well-known flooring contractor subcontracted by QR, failed due to unanticipated severe atmospheric conditions not conducive to a successful result. This was in no way the fault of QR. The initial consideration for remediation was complete sanding and refinishing of the floor. We felt this would not leave us with the floor that we paid for and would likely have left us with an unstable floor in terms of reactivity to future humidity. QR agreed to have the flooring removed and replaced, the cost of which was in the tens of thousands of dollars. We agreed to utilize the same subcontractor, believing in the expertise of his company which was simply sabotaged by the unanticipated atmospheric conditions which led to the floor’s failure. Steve and Cheyne Knight, CEO, arranged and supervised the preparations, materials ordering, environment and reinstallation to assure that every aspect of the process went according to plan. The reinstallation is perfect. We feel that, had we not been contracted with QR, the resolution would have been far more complicated and likely would have involved litigation. We are grateful for the expertise and integrity of QwikResponse and its employees and recommend them unreservedly for emergency services and reconstruction.

The met my expectations by doing a good job with the main job, they cut out the mold from the ceiling. The whole team did a great job. They were on time and professional.
