The owner DJ was personally involved and engaged from the beginning of the process to the end… He made a complex claim easy to resolve. DJ had personal relationships with all the insurance company representatives which made managing the claim easy… All of his employees that came to our house have been with him for years and were excellent at their jobs and good to work with. I highly recommend DJ & PFR.

I highly recommend PFR. At a time when my family was most vulnerable, it was a blessing to know that the PFR team was behind us. They attended to our needs, large and small. Lyle is truly spectacular, as is Jen. I had complete trust in them and we could not be happier with the results. PFR goes beyond simply fixing what has been broken. They are there to support in making decisions, anticipate every need, and make you feel like a valued family member.

“Professional” makes this an aptly named business because D.J. and his team are real Pros at this. I had a water damage situation. He was on site within minutes and his mitigation plan was underway immediately after. I later appreciated how important his urgency and skill with mitigation actually is not just to keeping the scope of the actual damage to a minimum, but also to starting the insurance claim process properly. This is another important aspect of these scenarios where D.J.’s experience really matters – he knows and has the respect of all the Insurers, and their adjusters, in the area. He takes charge and helps you quickly navigate through all the red tape, and pushes back as your advocate when there might be a denial of certain details he knows are important to doing the job right. D.J. knows your rights as the policy holder and pursues them to the fullest. He’s also very thorough from the first moments you call, diagnosing the actual cause if at all possible. In my own example, he was not determined to accept that it was a leak at the point of connection. He really inspected the whole area and beyond to make sure there wasn’t something more universally compromised in the piping overall, and plumbing system at large, to confirm and ensure this wasn’t going to be an ongoing problem. You will then see his capabilities when it comes to executing the job to its finish. He is effectively your General Contractor, and you will see how deftly he handles that role. D.J. only works with the best and most reputable Sub-Contractors in any area needed – Actual Carpentry from Framing to Sheetrock to Finish Work, MEP, HVAC, Painting, Flooring, Masonry, you name it, he will access the right outfit to do it to the highest quality and in the shortest time by sequencing it all flawlessly. Perhaps his most important quality is the human side of it all – D.J. genuinely recognizes there is some personal trauma associated with your situation and he is not afraid to do a little hand holding along the way. The saying “it isn’t personal, it’s just business” doesn’t apply to D.J. He takes his business very personally, and on your behalf. Don’t even hesitate when you have a water or fire problem. Just call Professional Fire and thank yourself in advance.

We bought a house that we intended to turn into an Airbnb up by Saratoga Lake. It was basically gutted. We ripped the insulation out and found mold on a lot of the roof sheathing and walls. It was awful. We called DJ from Professional Fire and he and his crew came out very quickly. They were very professional and took care of all of the mold for us so that we could continue with our remodel! They were great to work with. We highly recommend them!

Professional more like unprofessional. I would not work with DJ if you paid me. Him and his workers cut corners, send unprofessional texts, lie, steal and bamboozle insurance companies. DJ is a liar and I would think twice before working with his company if you’re considering. The one and two star reviews are accurate. BEWARE!!! Owner is obviously delusional as well, based on his response. I never owned a gas fire place and these claims are too funny. A joke of a company, but I guess they have to make up lies to sleep at night. It also proves my point of being an unprofessional company, to put the business of others on a Google review.
