Several units in our condo apartment building were recently damaged by a plumbing leak. In my case it took the form of a roughly one foot square hole in the upper wall of my primary bathroom, on the lower floor of a split-level unit. The condo association hired Faragon to repair the wall, and they did a spectacular job. They started by thoroughly protecting the entire path from the apartment entrance, down the stairs, and across to the bathroom, using a combination of plastic sheeting and fiberboard floor covering. The bathroom surfaces were carefully wrapped in plastic and taped in place. Once that was done they began work and over the course of three days they created a two layer patch, plastered and prepared the surface, then color-matched the wall and ceiling and repainted most of the bathroom. All of this was done despite the awkward location of the hole (above a built-in closet close to the ceiling), and with a minimal impact to me and my husband. We have a half-bath upstairs but no shower, so each evening they removed the plastic sheets covering the bathtub, allowing us to shower each morning, and replacing it when they began work again. The work, when completed, was completely seamless – there was no sign there had ever been any damage – and our bathroom and apartment were quickly restored to their former state. While I did not select Faragon myself, I would definitely do so if I needed their services. They were professional, polite, efficient, and thorough.

I have used Faragon Restoration on three separate occasions and I was very pleased with their quality of work and the time frame that they were able to get the repairs done each and every time. You truly get what you paid for and I highly recommend their services. They have also been helpful in recommending vendors when I had issues that they were not able to help with, so overall, they are just a great group of people to work with!

We experienced a massive flood in our condo a week before the lockdown, which, BTW has still never ended in SF after a year. Faragon saved the day; they became family to us. They always arrived in the morning, so cheerful to work, even when we were in tears. They comforted us, always answered the phone and took care of every little detail until one day it was over. We were so relieved when we were finally able to move out of the hotel and come home. Looking back over the experience, as bad as it was, and we did lose everything, somehow Faragon made it nice for us. They were so careful with our place and with our lives. This was a complete rebuild for us during a difficult time. To be honest, our place looks better now then it did before the loss—and that was a surprise. Who would have ever thought we were lucky enough to find the right company at the right time—when we needed them most. Highly recommended!

Faragon was proactive, quick, and professional. They coordinated with my insurance company and my building maintenance and operations to make things more seamless for me. I trusted them in my home for hours without me there, and did not have any issues. I hope I never have to use them again, but if another emergency comes up, they’ll be my go-to to fix it.

In the process of installing my new walk-in bathtub, the installers discovered significant dry rot beneath the linoleum flooring. They stopped work immediately and informed me that they could not continue until the floor was repaired — something they were not licensed to undertake. My HOA property manager recommended that I engage Faragon Restoration, Ltd. to address the problem. A crew from Faragon arrived the next day and began work immediately. They did such an excellent job of restoring the floor, baseboards, and affected lower walls that I also hired them to reconstruct and repaint the bathroom door and frame (dismantled to accommodate passage of the over-sized bathtub), even though this restoration would have been covered by my contract with the bathtub company. I then hired Faragon to paint the rest of the bathroom, plus the kitchen, which included refinishing maple-faced cabinets. I was so pleased with these outcomes that I contracted Faragon to paint the entire remaining interior of my two-story condominium. As they worked, the crew carefully covered all surfaces and contents to protect against paint splatters, sanding dust, and miscellaneous debris. Thereafter they thoroughly vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned, leaving everything in excellent condition. The Faragon workers were unfailingly professional, skillful, and good-natured. They were even patient with my cat, who took responsibility for overseeing their work, sometimes from the top of Faragon’s 12-foot ladder.
