Avoid JM Johnson Builders roofing. Newly purchased house had a small leak and per PICRA this company fixed it. Well I go and look after all the rain we’ve had it’s not fixed. I called their number and spoke with Joey. He states he was onsite and to call Justin, the owner in order to determine if it’s covered under warranty. I called Justin a couple of times and he never answered, but I left a message. I then sent a text and received an immediate response. In short, he stated they only warranty their work for 6 months due to the age of my roof. Yeah. You know it’s cruddy work when you only stand by it for 6 months. My roof is a 10 year old roof with a GAF Timberline 30 year shingle. It’s not that old nor a bad shingle brand/type. I’ve attached the proof they serviced my roof before they stated they never serviced it. Unfortunately, there is nothing in writing how long things are warrantied for. The repair costs me $2K now for work they should have corrected the first time. In my opinion, you can use this company if you want to get shafted but avoid otherwise. Just to add to a comment below when the company stated that “JM Johnson Builders” wasn’t around 4 years ago. If you do you research they were “Under Cover Roofing before. Their website name even resolves back to the same name.

Liars Who Will NOT Stand Behind Their Work!!! They replaced my roof 4 years ago. I recently found a leak going into my wall. For days Justin, Josh and even their father (prior owner of the company) lied to me and made absurd excuses as to why it was not their fault. In the end they would not take my calls and absolutely refused to do the repairs. Oh, On top of everything, the entire company is extremely rude, disrespectful to both me and my property and overall unprofessional.

My realtor recommended this contractor. The contractor did an estimate for work he and the realtor led us to believe was required in order to sell our house. They wanted $2000, including $60 to install a face plate! That’s 30 seconds of work! If I could award no stars, I would! Another licensed contractor did only the work that was really necessary for $320.

After multiple consultations from other companies and not hearing back from one, I decided to reach out to this company. Justin showed up the next day and listened to all my wants and concerns. We made a plan right then and I felt confident I found the best company. He emailed over a breakdown of cost for everything we discussed and it was very reasonable and professionally presented to me. Within 10 days I had a new roof, new fence/gate, and a beautiful new deck. They removed all the trash and all the employees were very professional from start to finish. They made sure I was happy every step of the way. I highly recommend J. M. Builders.

Amazing and prompt service! Was able to come out same day for an estimate and complete repairs within 3 days. Repairs were completed with absolute satisfaction. Can’t wait to use them again not only for my personal use but family, clients, and friends.

Justin, Josh, and their team are fantastic. They have done a lot of work for me and my clients. Most recently, I represented the seller in a transaction and they completed a long PICRA (repair item) list. Then they came out 6+ extra times to do little touch ups and extra items to please the buyer. Without them, we would not have made it to the closing table. They not only provide prompt, impeccable work but they also understand the real estate transaction making things run so much smoother.
