VIP Kitchen Bath Remodeling, Quartz/Granite Countertop Installation Fairfax 16 hours agoI had a full kitchen remodel, completely tore out everything, that’s not the problem. I had a new floor installed, and there have been issues since the beginning. The countertops look amazing but they had to come back today because the amps used on my microwave and the Electrical plug on my air fryer did not coincide and they kept blowing the fuse every time I used them. They fix them today, but the floor is a “floating floor“ and it has separated, swelled at the joint, peeled, and is not flush to the floor. I have told Ian on many occasions and he says he fixes it but that’s not the truth. He gave me an option of getting a vinyl floor and he would charge me only for materials. The cost he says is $1800 for 41 ft.² I priced his materials at Costco for the same thing and it was $690 for actually better material. Ian told me he cannot meet Costco‘s prices so I asked him to show me the receipt for the material and he will not do it. I talked to two contractors, one of which is installing a deck at my home right now, and he told me that he is hiding partial labor fees, which he will not admit to, but he will hide material fees if he’s truthful.? This is actually over twice the cost of what other people have told me that it should cost for materials only. Maybe talking to a woman he thinks I’m stupid, but I’m not amd this floor has a warranty. I am not happy at all, and would not recommend them at this point, some areas of my home are pretty in the kitchen, but areas that should count he blows that off. Take a chance if you want, but also look at my review because this is the second one, the first one I took down because of his promises, but this one will remain. He also sends someone that literally speaks no English at all but he seems to know that there’s an issue with the floor, but he can’t communicate. This kind of stuff irritates me to no end. If someone can’t speak English, they shouldn’t be able to come to someone’s home without a translator. Update one year later. The kitchen floor is coming up and I sent Ian a message to say where the kitchen floor was bought so I could get another box to have another installer fix what poorly not tacked down as above. No answer. I’m sure he doesn’t want to do that in the kitchen floor apparently is under warranty, but I’m sure that won’t happen either. I will never use this business again. Very poor, some people have a good luck. Some people have bad and one that had bad luck. I’ll never even recommend this business to anybody. First of all the contractor or subcontractor should I say that he had working for him? Did not speak English. Even though he was very nice, it’s hard to communicate. Tell somebody what you need done when they can’t understand English language. Anyway, there was always some kind of excuse that I felt like he was calling me an idiot and I didn’t know what I was doing, but nevertheless, when I get a chance to get home, I’ll send you the pictures of what the floor looks like now.

Top Remodeling a year agoTop Remodeling did excellent work and was very responsive to our requests. It was a large project that involved every floor of our house for which they carefully scheduled each stage. When additional expertise (e.g., hardwood floors) was needed, they brought in quality craftsmen with whom they had previously worked. We definitely would hire them again.
