Chile was the best! He was punctual, professional, just outstanding! He helped try and save as much money as he could. Even after completion, he’s still trying to save us money. Overall, it was an amazing experience with Chile and his team.

After a recent rain and wind storm, on a Wed night, we found rain water had entered the attic and was dripping down from the ceiling in one of our bedrooms. After putting out some buckets to catch the water, I began calling roofers. Most were busy but said they would come out and look at the situation the following week. I kept calling others and when I called Merritt Roofing, Christian “Chile” Serrano answered. I explained our situation and he said they were roofing a house not too far from us and would come by later that day. He did just that and brought roofer Garrett with him and between the 3 of us, we found that water came in from the area around a vent pipe. Garrett made a temporary repair and they walked the roof looking for any other problems and found one other vent had a torn rubber boot. Christian put a priority on the permanent repairs and we rec’d a quote in a day or so, which we accepted, and the repair work was and done the very next day. The repair man also walked the entire roof, making sure there were no protruding nails and fixing any lifting shingles. The roof is now in better shape and has more years of service left in it. Great job by Merritt Roofers, and thanks to Christian, Garrett, and the whole company!

Spending money on roof repair is not pleasant, especially when it is out of pocket and not covered by insurance or warranty. I called Merritt Roofing as they were recommended and had great reviews. Christian “Chile” Serrano came to inspect my roof and provide an estimate. He was on time and very thorough in his investigation as to the cause of the leaks. I was surprised how much time he spent gathering information. I received a formal, written estimate within 24 hours. I requested it be broken down with more detail. Chile handled that promptly with no resistance. I did have other estimates that were lower but I chose Merritt because of detail provided of the individual costs. Chile was patient with me as I tried to get the cost down without doing a job half way. Together we found a way to reduce the final cost while still doing what needed to be done. I received the well done before/after file from Chile today (the repair was just started and finished yesterday). The pictures absolutely justified the cost. The workers showed up at 7:30 a.m. and worked constantly all day. Chile was the last to leave after 7:00 p.m. Do not hesitate to use Merritt Roofing. The attached picture is just one area that was repaired.
