Called for an estimate for a metal roof replace on a small block building. Nathan (the owner) came out and attempted to write out an estimate with a felt pen that didn’t work well. He told me if I wanted him to do the job, he would write up a formal contract. I called a couple of days later and told him I wanted him to do the reroofing. He said he would get back to me but did not. I called three more times over a period of a month; each time he promised he would call back with a time to come back out and assess the roof. He never did. I finally gave up and hired another roofer. He may be good if you can actually get him to do the job, but who knows??? I certainly would not want to chance that he would ever finish the job if he did start it, based on the initial experience at the beginning! I won’t ever call Protect Roofing again and certainly would never recommend this company!

Nathan Flores of Protect Roofing was able to schedule our tile roof repairs quickly. He was able to come out in two days during the first heavy rain event this year. Other companies took as much as 3 days to even return our call! Nathan removed enough tiles to follow the leak, took pictures before, during and after he had completed his repair to show us what he found and what he had done to fix it. Since then we have had another big rain event and are happy to report – no leaks. He was timely, competent and reasonable in his fees.
