I was working in my back yard when Carlos Vasquez asked if he could inspect my roof for hail or storm damage. I gave him the okay thinking there was no chance that he would find anything. Carlos did find some damage and asked if he could work on our behalf with our insurance provider to see about a potential replacement. Within a matter of days, Carlos called back with great news. Total replacement approved AND we wouldn’t be out of pocket for any of it. Over the course of the next week, Carlos brought out samples so we could pick our new roof color. He followed up regularly with scheduling information and updates. We were on vacation when the work was done but Carlos sent pictures throughout the day so we could see the progress. When we got back, I walked around the house to check the cleanup work after the installation. I found ONE small piece of shingle and ZERO nails. The whole process was easy from start to finish. Carlos and his team did an amazing job and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Company: Tartan Builders Sales Rep: Carlos Calvano My experience with sales reps isn’t good. They usually are pushy and won’t take no for an answer. Being a senior now, I always worry about fraud and taking advantage of older people, ripping them off. But the sales rep I dealt with from Tartan Builders for my roof was not that way. Carlos Calvano was polite, kind, and never pushy. He was very respectful. That there speaks volumes to me. He spoke with confidence and was very knowledgeable about the company, the estimate/insurance process, the work and the materials. Carlos walked my roof, took pics and even met with the insurance claims adjuster. After seeing the pics I could not believe how bad my roof really was. I’m the kind of person who asks lots and lots of questions to gain understanding and all throughout the process Carlos was very patient with me and answered all my questions even when I asked the same question more than once. He took the time to explain the process reassuring me that I wouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket except my deductible. That was a huge concern of mine. He even spoke to the insurance company on my behalf when I didn’t know or understand something. I felt comfortable contacting him when a concern would arise and he took the time to explain it to me. My overall experience with Carlos left me feeling confident about the whole process and now I look forward to seeing my new roof. Upon completion of the “build” I will update my review to reflect the completed work. I feel confident that I won’t be disappointed.

These guys made my insurance claim for a new roof easy. They walked me thru the steps, and supported me and all my questions thru completion. This was a good experience, and it i’d use them again for sure.

We were amazed that Grant Martinez’s phenomenal team were able to remove and install our roof shingles in one day. There were some minor problems and Grant was able to take care of them quickly to our satisfaction. I would recommend anyone with roofing issues or questions to contact Grant and Tartan Builders.

Working with Tartan was a great experience. We saved over 15k on a new roof after wind damage was found from storms in our area. Carsen was great to work with throughout the whole process, filed the claim for us, and worked with the insurance company the entire time. The new roof looks awesome, the tear down and new installation was done in the same day, and the crew spent hours cleaning up after they were done. Highly recommend!

Tartan builders work with my home insurance company to make sure I get the maximum coverage from them. Tartan builders also uses very high quality materials for roofing. I would highly recommend Tartan builders for your roof work.
