I recently had the pleasure of working with Burish Builders to address a leaking chimney caused by an improperly installed cricket. From start to finish, my experience with Ben and his team was exceptional. Ben quickly identified the source of the leak and made informed recommendations for the necessary repairs, which included a new roof installation. When the older shingles were removed, Ben found 20 different spots where the 1×6 decking was either installed incorrectly or rotten. Despite the initial plan to start on a Wednesday, the build was pushed to Friday. Ben and his crew spent two days at my house, ensuring everything was done correctly. Throughout the process, Ben kept me updated with pictures and explanations, which I greatly appreciated. The crew efficiently cut out the old cricket, installed a new one to improve water flow off the chimney, and completely replaced the old flashing. Additionally, they addressed the interior damage caused by the leak by having a painter come in within a week to fix it. I couldn’t be more pleased with Burish Builders’ craftsmanship and Ben’s professionalism, punctuality, and integrity. Had Eli come out to inspect my roof after a friend recommended him. Showed up on time and fully inspected my roof. Fortunately, I didn’t have damage like I had thought I might have. But he drove 2 hours to inspect my roof which really shows commitment, at least to me. Thanks!
