We had a great experience with Providence Roofing from start to finish! Richard was always on top of communicating with us and answering our questions. The job was done in a single day and the crew did a great job cleaning up. The new roof looks great!

Richard and his team were quick getting a roof on. There were some issues, and they came back to make things right a couple of times. One of the issues should’ve been fixed when the roof was first put on, but it was not. There was a soft spot in the roof, and when my husband went back up on the roof to check on it, the soft spot was still there. Thankfully, my husband knew where the spots were so he could double check behind the crew. My husband called Richard and he sent some men over to pull up the new tile and fix the wood and re-tile the roof. We also had to call Richard back after a leak was discovered in our sunroom. He sent a couple of guys out and they fixed the leak. Lastly, the crew left a bunch of old roof tiles in our gutters. My husband had to clean out all the gutters. This was discovered several months after the roof installation, so, we did not want to bother Richard for a third time to get this cleaned out. Not sure if this was done out of spite or laziness. I am just happy we have our roof and things seem to be fixed with it.

Providence Roofing did an excellent job on our new construction roof. They were timely, communicated well, and there were no surprises, with extremely competitive pricing. They thought through the project very thoroughly, were courteous, and cleaned up the job site beautifully when they were done.

In 2018, I had my roof replaced along with an addition that was built on and tied into the existing roof. All-American roofing was the company that performed the job and within months I had a leak coming through my tongue and groove ceiling over my covered deck. They came out after reporting the leak and applied silicone and said it should be better. Months later, it happens again, back out with more silicone. Happens again months later, I’m upset and the company was being hard to deal with so I called other specialists through Angie’s list. They said that All-American American installed a California cut which was illegal in North Carolina. So, I try to get them out to reinstall the valley. Lots of slack and denied to fix it but sent someone out to apply more silicone. We did this for several years, I went to the extent of paying someone else to redo the valley and replace rotten plywood out of pocket which didn’t help. Another contractor said it was coming through the chimney so I paid $3000 to have chimney regrouted, sealed, and new cap installed. Still didn’t fix it. At this point, I’m desperate given I had made tons of calls, hundreds of texts in attempt to get original company to stand behind their work, over ten days of missed work sitting with roofers and chimney crews, thousands of dollars on top of the original cost. I knew Ashley from years ago and knew he had started a roofing business so I reached out begging for help. When he and crew arrived, they immediately saw the problem and although it was a rough fix, they didn’t hesitate to dig in and do the necessary work. I even told him I didn’t care how much it cost. Most companies might take advantage of someone so desperate but Ashley provides a very fair bill for the work performed. After seeing what it took to actually fix my leak, I could see why so many contractors avoided the extensive work required. We have had some extremely heavy rains over the past few months that would have definitely exposed any problems and NO LEAKS! Additionally, I had time to speak with his employees and they spoke very highly of how he treated them with dignity and took care of them. You can tell a lot about someone by how they take care of their workers. If you are reading this, please take it from someone who has dealt with many roofers over the years that want to take shortcuts, Ashley and crew do not take shortcuts. I cannot sing their praises enough! Thank you Providence Roofing!

This is our second time using Providence Roofing and I’m happy to say that the communication and workmanship were both wonderful! We had our own roof done by Providence last year and recommended them to my Dad. Richard Hester contacted my Dad the same day I spoke with him and He was there to measure and inspect the roof within a couple of hours! While he was there, Richard took it upon himself the to fix a minor issue with my Dad’s gutter which was much appreciated! Richard was also helpful by supplying samples and recommending a shingle color that went well with the house The job was done efficiently and right on schedule! Fair price, quality work and terrific staff to deal with. My husband Andy and I highly recommend Providence Roofing

Richard was so knowledgeable and helpful in reviewing the roof. Accessing the damage and getting what we needed to submit our claim. He patiently waited as we worked out the details. Taking care of everything on his end so that when we were ready, he was ready. His team was on time and and he had a large crew that managed the repairs and the replacement in quick time. They removed the roof and took the time to clean up and make sure all the nails were picked up as well. You would never know they were there accept that we now have a beautiful new roof! Thank you for your professionalism and attention to detail!

Came on time . Worked really hard. Did a fantastic job. Reasonable in price. Used best materials . Richard the foreman was very knowledgeable and so helpful I could not ask for more. Just a great team . Honest people .
