When my roof was damaged by a falling tree branch, my friends recommended contacting Tar Heel Roofing and Solar. They quickly and efficiently fixed the damaged shingles and replaced my guttters using high-quality materials. I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism and attention to detail. Being a first time home buyer I was a little clueless about my 20 year old home and it’s maintenance, and with the recent hurricane, it did some damage and had a roof leak. Kadir and Benjamin were very quick to come out and give me an estimate as well as the repair the very same visit! Kadir was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the type of material and types of repairs that could be done, as well as giving me a break down of costs and materials. Benjamin was very thorough with the repairs and the best part was the pictures of the different steps in the repair, ensuring me it was done right without shortcuts. Very affordable and very helpful, I will definitely have them perform the maintenance and upkeep with my new home!

Thank you to Josh from Tar Heel Roofing and Solar! We had an ongoing roof leak problem that was not improving after several “repair” jobs. Various roofers told us that we needed a whole new expensive roof, even though our roof should have some good years left. Finally, Josh looked at it and immediately came up with some easy solutions that we could do ourselves. And now? Success! No more leaking! Tar Heel Roofing is an honest, capable company and we will not hesitate to call on them for future repairs or roof replacement.

Kadir and Josh provided a competitive quote for our new roof, completed the work with quality at the quoted price, and then were able to repair our gutters and the gutter guards after a previous contractor had overcharged and under-performed. They also acted as general contractors for long overdue repairs on our house, supervising repairs made on the screened in porch, siding and window and new door installations. I could not ask for better service, or quality and all work was completed according to their stated schedule. I am very impressed with the quality and the scale of work performed.

Tar Heel Roofing and Solar LLC replaced the roof on my house on June16 and 17, 2021. After a through inspection of the 28-year old roof they decided it needed to be replaced. It is a rather large and steep roof. They informed me of all the materials, the labor, the cost and the time involved. They explained the process and were accessible to answer all the questions I had. They worked with my insurance company. Upon completion of the job they issued the guarantees and papers for proof of the job done and left me a house that looks like new. At all times did I feel confident that they would do a good job and they did. I highly recommend them. Brigitte A

Josh and his staff were exceptional! They were contacted by my parents, who have a house in North Carolina, but currently reside in Georgia. Since I currently live in the house that was being attended to, Josh and his staff efficiently and thoughtfully communicated with my parents and myself to schedule appointments/ repairs. He personally texted me throughout the process to update and remind me of appointments and verified that everything was still on schedule. Everyone is extremely responsive and respectful. I would consider them as my top choice when it comes roof repair. Highly recommend!

Kadir and Josh did a great job repairing several boot vents, flashing and some other minor damage! Very professional and knowledgeable. Good competitive pricing as well. Very quick response time. Definitely will work with them again if needed.

I am really pleased with the way the job went. They protected all the landscaping as and the siding as promised. The job took a day and they came back the next day for several hours to do a thorough cleanup. Would highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Tar Heel Roofing and Solar enough. Josh and Kadir made sure we received outstanding service. Even though the date was pushed out a week because of inclement weather, once they started they replaced our roof within the days they stated. We had the roof replaced during the COVID19 pandemic so the response from our insurance company was very slow to say the least, but the contractor was patient every step of the way. My concern was the cleanup process, a neighbor of mine had their roof replaced with another contractor and was telling me about his battle with finding numerous nails on his lawn after the job was complete. I expressed that concern to the contractor and they made sure to thoroughly clean up after the job was complete. During the original roof removal, some shingles hit the siding of our house when falling and others hit one or two our screen windows. They came out the following day with workers to repair the screen windows and clean/retouch the siding that was marred with the falling shingles.
