Robert and his crew were wonderful! Our home had a rubberized roof system which had been repaired previously by another company, but was failing. Asheville Roofing came in and removed the entire roof repaired what the previous company had left on done and replaced it with a commercial grade system that will last for years. The crew that worked on our house was very professional, proficient, and went the extra mile to clean up afterwards. I was able to speak with Robert daily to keep up with the progress, any unexpected conditions of the existing roof and what the fix and timeline would be. We are thrilled with the final results and even the price. I Highly recommend Asheville Roofing for any of your Roofing needs.

After a hail storm hit our roof was leaking, Ray came to the rescue! He was prompt and easy to work with. He and his crew did a great job. We were out of town while the repairs happened and couldn’t even tell they had been here working. They kept our yard clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend Asheville Roofing.

Asheville Roofing is a great company to work with. All materials used are high quality products and the roofing team did a spectacular job. New roof looks excellent and the attention to detail cleaning up was greatly appreciated, there was no evidence left in my yard that a large construction project had been done. The owner Ray Whitson was great to deal with from start to finish and I highly recommend Asheville Roofing. We consider this roofing project a great success. A hail storm did substantial damage to our roof, siding, and gutters in only 20 short minutes – quite scary, but not as scary as finding a fair and reputable contractor that could make us whole again. We got our share of storm chasing contractors hours afterward. We screened several local contractors – some lowballed the job, some were “premium” (read, overpriced), but Asheville Roofing was spot-on. Ray and his crews are great, fast, efficient, and competent. We have a former roofer in the family that checked all of the work along the way and it was all done to spec with quality materials and workmanship – they did it all, full roof, new siding, new gutters, and great cleanup. Dealing with damage from a rare storm is scary – recovering from it shouldn’t be. Thanks Ray and Asheville Roofing! Michael Iantosca Weaverville

Asheville Roofing did a complete shingle tear off and re-roofing at my house in Haw Creek. They also replaced a section of metal roofing at the back of the house. They arrived when scheduled, brought an army of workers so they were able to complete an awkward, devilishly steep and complicated job in just a few days. They had to replace quite a bit of sheathing, and work around a skylight and a solar hot water system which they moved out of the way and then put back in place without my having to deal with it separately. They did an excellent job. The price was very fair. I can confidently recommend them.

Robert @ Asheville Roofing exemplifies excellent customer service and going the extra mile for the customer. I first came in contact with Robert when he came out on super short notice to give me a quotes on repairs needed during two different due diligence periods. He was able to squeeze us in to his busy schedule and gave us an extremely detailed report on issues and a fair price. Asheville Roofing came out and did a great job on the repairs and Robert even came back out to help us with additional gutter and other issues. Robert is friendly, professional, honest, super responsive and truly someone you can count on! I cannot say enough great things about Robert. I have struggled to post this review. This company moved in less than a mile from my house, which we wanted to use locally, and the owner seemed pleasant and was initially very responsive. Yesterday was the final straw. After contacting the owner on 19 May about the screen repair and gutter blockage, I have yet to receive any resolution. Day two involved the workers tripped and subsequently fried my outside outlet with their air compressor. Though it was replaced about 8 hours later by a member of the crew, this caused outlets to my office and the internet to be out that same amount of time. There was no After Action/Walk around for quality and customer satisfaction. It wasn’t until a few days later I discovered the bent gutter, repaired by Asheville Roofing, torn screen, again repaired by Asheville Roofing, but the quality of repair was so poorly done that the screen undulates in the wind. One gutter next to my front door was so clogged that the rain spilled over the gutter along the fascia. This I finally fixed yesterday and discovered partial tiles, plastic, and about 23 roofing nails. Statistically, where there is one plugged downspout, there are others. I just don’t have a ladder tall enough to assess. The roofing tiles were slammed so hard onto the roof, that they actually dislodged the can lights from my ceiling. Yes, the owner put them back in, they are not set as original and the paint does not align. In the contract, the Vents/covers are supposed to be painted to match the roofing tiles. Well, I can tell the same 18-year-old bird poo and faded black covers are exactly as they were before the job was completed. In all fairness, I contacted the owner on 19 May and have yet to see him or hear back. I give them a 1/5 as the tiles are on the roof and so far no leaks.
