As a new homeowner I must say choosing Kevin with Chief CornerStone Roofing was a great decision. I had many concerns regarding mold in my attic. Didn’t think I would be replacing the roof before I even moved in…. Kevin explained how the problem could be rectified and helped me find solace in replacing the roof. I was very worried about my babies, I need a clean and healthy environment to raise them in. I really don’t know where to begin…. When I met Kevin, he addressed concerns I had about the roofs condition as well as many other concerns I had that did not pertain to the roof. Mainely, Kevin was able to determine the causes of the mold which was crucial. I am new to all this and watching my roof be ripped and replaced first hand was an experience I won’t forget. I now have a GAF roof with ice and water sheild, corrected Ridge vent, added a bathroom vent pipe as well as a few other things. Needless to say, I gained lots of knowledge meeting Kevin. He always answers my calls and texts, He is very responsive, knowledgeable and genuine. He takes pride in what he does. I’m looking forward to a great roof over my families head for many years to come!

Our roof was in dire need of repairs! After speaking with many roofing companies we chose Chief Cornerstone. Kevin was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and didn’t try to sell us any unnecessary items. They came bright and early on the scheduled day and the workers were efficient and courteous. The work was done the same day and afterwards they cleaned the yard spotless of any debris from the old roof. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

We purchased our house in 2022 knowing that the roof was in terrible shape with two layers on top of each other and 3/8th plywood everywhere. We started looking for roofers and met with at least 6 different companies ranging from small companies to large corporations with presence in several states. The price estimates ranged from cheap and unrealistic (cut corners, no insurance, no warranty and not registered with GAF) to reasonable, to outrageous were we need to pay the full overhead and marketing of a large company that subcontract its work. We found Kevin with Chief Cornerstone through Facebook. He met with us before we went on vacation. He was very professional, honest and straightforward. He told us that all the plywood needs to be changed as 1/2in is the code for roofs in Long Island, as we expected and gave us the most reasonable estimate while demonstrating his GAF certification. He’s the owner and operator which explains why he was a straightshooter in his estimate. We felt that though we just met him, we could tell that he’s trustworthy and we cut the deal with him in the same meeting. He walked us though through all the details of how he was going to tear our old roof and install the new one. We have young children and he promised that the work will be done in one day soup to nuts and that every last nail and residue old roof will be cleaned well before he receives his payment. Indeed, Kevin and his foreman Mario showed up first thing in the morning and managed an army of guys (12 people) who worked diligently throughout the 100F hot day, rotating shifts and got the whole job done by 3pm. It was very impressive not just in terms of quality and professionalism but also cleanliness and speed. I witnessed Kevin himself climbing up the roof and picking up the last couple of nails to make sure the roof was spotless. I had recommended Chief Cornerstone to my neighbor who managed to get his roof done 4 days before me and now both houses look like they got a face-lift. I highly recommend Kevin and his company and look forward for more future projects with them around my house.

I highly recommend Chief Cornerstone Contractors inc. to anyone. They fully replaced our roof including plywood and some rafters. They used GAF timberline HDZ shingles and we are extremely satisfied. The owner and crew were efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. All was done in one day and they left the place spotless.

Having to replace a roof is a daunting task. My roof was 30 years old and leaking had over the years repairs done improperly..I found Kevin at Chief cornerstone roofing and from the very beginning complete God send. Kevin explained in detail what was needed he spent hours with us. His knowledge and honesty put as at ease. Our new roof is complete and we couldn’t be happier. Quality materials quality work.. Dealing with unexpected roof repairs can be stressful, but Kevin Miller from Chief Cornerstone Roofing made the process a breeze! We recently had new gutters installed and discovered our porch roof needed replacing as well. This was a significant expense that we weren’t anticipating but Kevin responded quickly to our concerns and offered samples to help us choose the right roofing tile. There was no pressure to make a decision on the spot. Once given a quote, we decided to add on “eyelid” roofs for our bay windows to ensure a clean and unified aesthetic. During the installation, additional roof work was discovered. Kevin explained everything clearly and worked with us to find a cost-effective solution.The finished porch roof looks beautiful as do the “eyelid” roofs for our bay windows The crew was professional, kept the work area clean, and Kevin personally ensured everything was done right. Kevin has been a pleasure to deal with. He was super engaged in the whole process, detailing what was needed, included and where and when everything would take place. He is great with communication and very responsive. The day of our job, he had his crew in and done on time. The crew was great! They work quickly and they work clean. You would have never known we had the roof done when they were done. No debris inside or outside. A well oiled machine. Thanks Kevin and team for the great work. Highly recommend Chief Cornerstone inc with Kevin and his team. We inquired on a few quotes. Kevin was kind and understanding of our questions as 1st time homeowners. In the end they had better pricing but most of all made us feel comfortable in our purchase. Roof was completed by mid afternoon same day! We had a great experience!
