Legacy restoration installed flashing incorrectly on our roof which resulted in major leaking. They came out and “fixed” the issue and admitted it was done incorrectly the first time. The leaking improved significantly, but minor leaking continued. They came out multiple more times to fix the issue, yet the leaking continued. Finally I was told by a younger technician that all along the leaking was from the flat roof, which they did not replace. However, the more senior technician stated to me that the leaking was not coming from the flat roof and that the flat roof still had 10 years life left. Additionally, we did not have leaking before the roof was replaced. This senior technician stated that he would now be my point person and get this resolved. After this, I never heard from them again. I called many times with no response. I finally received an after hours call back from a manager who was rude and stated it was the flat roof. I said that I was told by the technician that the leaking was not coming from the flat roof. He stated he would follow up, and again I never heard back from them. After calling many more times, I was finally told by their call center that they would not be coming out to my home ever again and would not do any repairs of the damage caused from when they installed the flashing incorrectly. No one took the time to relay this information to me but rather had me call many times before receiving it. I would not trust this company to follow through in communication or quality if something goes awry with your roof replacement.

Legacy came through my neighborhood last fall and because I have the original 20 year roof, they asked if they could do an inspection. I agreed, and the two younger guys got up there, took a bunch of pictures, and told me I had significant hail damage and started the process of filing a claim with State Farm. Then it was my job to coordinate the adjuster’s inspection with the company’s main guy, Dan Cherry. We finally get something set-up after I manage the back and forth emails. Dan comes out and meets with the third-party adjuster and the story now changes to “you might have some damage, but probably not a lot.” My insurance company tells me I have slight damage to my gutters, worth about $2K, and not worth going further because of my deductible. The original guy who started my claim quit the company, and my case was then dropped. I had another company come out and they were honest with me and confirmed that I did not have significant damage to the shingles. Now, I have a claim on my record, which is going to affect my rates going forward and no new roof. Bottom line…don’t put much faith in the teenagers they hire to canvass the neighborhoods trying to drum up business. Basically, what they are doing is telling everyone that they may have damage just to get them to get an adjuster out…if the insurance company decides to pay out, they get the job, but if not, they are not out anything and the homeowner if left holding the bag.

Great company, very responsive. Shoutout to our Project Manager, Cody Giguere, and Customer Service Rep, Jolene Hedtke, great to work with! They got out entire roof done in one day. We have an issue with the materials delivery company (not Legacy) damaging the neighbors yard and Legacy worked to make it right. Very responsive to feedback and questions!

My experience with Legacy Restoration was the best from the very first day to the last very last I was always informed of all the steps and procedures everyone that was involved was very professional very helpful always kept me in the loop always answered my questions and always looked out for my best interest. This company came to our entire neighborhood convincing everyone we had enough hail damage to get new roofs. Then once our insurance companies got involved, they said there wasn’t enough for a new roof so just patchwork. This now opened a claim that will cost thousands of dollars. Now that it isn’t an entire roof-Legacy won’t come and do the work. Absolutely appalling what they did. We have elderly neighbors on a fixed income who now have to pay their deductible for patchwork-otherwise they won’t get that part of the roof covered in the future. Dirty company. Don’t believe them that they are local and trustworthy!
