Deep down, I am 100% satisfied with the new roof from Midland Roofers and Chad Moody Building and Remodeling. The new roof was very complex and I had many additional requirements for our new roof. For example, we needed new facia because the old metal roof end caps were screwed into the old fascia. The bathrooms were vented through the soffits causing most air to be vented into the attic and Chad was knowledgeable enough to move the bathroom vents to the roof where they cannot cause any attic damage. Our old range hood vent was located where it was completely covered and filled with snow in the winter and Chad was able to design a solution to keep it from filling with snow during bad storms and causing moisture in our attic and kitchen. In addition, we had an old boiler vent that was no longer needed. Chad and his team were able to remove the structure from the roof and the attic where it was attached, seal it off and insulate for maximum roof performance. On top of all of the above, Midland Roofers added a new ridge vent to our garage and re-engineered the ridge vent on our home for maximum effectiveness and ventilation. Before the roof was started, I had many questions and Chad patiently answered them all. We really appreciated the extra time he took to answer several rounds of questions. Where our home and garage meet, we have some complex siding work. If the siding is not installed correctly, moisture will seep in through the walls. Chad and his team took additional efforts and time to completely reinstall the siding in this area with brand new materials that completely matched the rest of the house and garage. We were so happy and impressed with this work and the additional effort to make it exactly as it needed to be so that it would last and not cause any issues years later. Not only was the work performed with the highest of quality throughout the entire project, Chad and his team were a joy to work with. I commend each of them for their professionalism and personable demeanor before, during and after the project. To sum it up, we received the highest quality roof that we needed and the most beautiful roof that we always wanted. We could not be happier with the end product and we thank Chad and each member of his team for a fantastic job and a very memorable experience.

We needed a wheelchair ramp designed so that the cement porch steps could stay in place. Chad did a very nice job and we’ve gotten many comments about how nice it is.

Had to call back because he forgot to call, then he apologized and said he would call me back to set up a quote. Never did. Poor service and communication service. Guess what, my time is just as valuable as yours, so if you need immediate service this is not the guy to go with.

Chad recently replaced the roofs on two apartment buildings for my company. I am very pleased with the outcome. His price was very competitive and the work was outstanding. I had Chad install a new roof last year, which went very well and this spring a huge, eighty year old Siberian elm fell onto my house. Chad coordinated with the tree removal company(A-Ton, Midland 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) and sent a crew over immediately to repair the roof right between two winter snow storms. The interior water damage would have been so much more if it had not been done promptly. The crew was fast and efficient and very friendly. I highly recommend this company 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Thanks Chad Moody!

Chad sent me a quote for roof shingle replacement back in late Sept and I signed and emailed back the contract in early Oct to have the work done. He told me over the phone that he’d contact me shortly before the work was to be completed and that they were very busy. Understandable for sure. A month and a half went by and I re-contacted him via email to make sure he got my signed contract just in case he didn’t get it, as it was never confirmed that he did. While not replying to the email, he called me a couple of weeks later to tell me the work could be done next week (a week before Christmas). I picked out the shingle color and I knew they were coming at some point the following week, but he didn’t say which day. The following week, I noticed they had brought materials out and I figured they might come and work on it the next day. The next morning came around and they dropped off their huge dumpster in my driveway without telling me, assuming I had already left for work at 8am, but I had not as that’s not how my job is. There was no way for me to get my car out with where the dumpster was placed. I had to call them to have it removed and they did come within 10 or 15 minutes. I was frustrated that no one told me it was there or checked to see if I was still at home though. A week later, I was walking along my driveway and noticed there were 5 nails scattered around. Glad I didn’t get a flat tire. The roof itself looks great, they got my small roof done within a day, and so far I haven’t had any issues with it. The biggest disappointment I have with the company is the lack of communication and the less than stellar clean up.

Chad Moody Builders did an excellent job! I was so grateful they squeezed me in at the end of the year. They were fast, efficient and my yard was left as clean as it was before they started. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!
