Dupont Roofing and Restoration replaced my roof and 2 skylights in 2022. The shingles are doing well, but on skylight continues to leak, resulting in water damage inside my home. The first time this occurred, in January of 2023, James Dupont sent a crew to fix the issue and committed to a 10 year warranty through the company. The second time the roof leaked, in February of 2024, James came to my home personally with a branded shirt and again committed to fixing the issue. He even offered additional services since he noticed my fence was damaged. however, the promised work is incomplete. James has since told me that Dupont Roofing and Restoration is CLOSED as of January, which is odd considering our conversation in February. My roof still leaks, I still have water damage, and James is not responding to any of my messages. He has not even had the courtesy to tell me he can’t get it fixed. The last message I have from him (dated February 6th) is still committing to getting the work done, while asking me not to follow up anymore. All in all, this experience has not been good and I would never even consider recommending James or this company to anyone. I am disappointed and can only hope this review helps those looking for a roofing contractor understand that this business is not the one.

There were a few issues. But they were taken care of in a timely manner.

great for commercial purposes, james came out and gave me a quote , being my roof was rusted out i thought the price was going be high but james gave me a reasonable quote , what a great experience!

I have to admit I had never heard of DuPont until my neighbor used them for their roof after Ida . They were pleased so I gave them a call . Every single person I dealt with from the beginning to end was so pleasant and efficient. Annah was my biggest support – she persisted with my insurance company – followed up when needed and prodded when needed . She returned my texts/ calls quickly . And very patient with me explaining RCV , depreciation etc. and answering my many questions. Mallory in office also pleasant and helpful. New roof just a few weeks old now and am very pleased.

DuPont was great. Their people were very friendly and helpful and most importantly kept in contact. Answered any and all of my questions no matter how small. Completed my roof in one day. Came back the next week to check for any nails that could’ve been left behind. They stand behind their work and take any responsibility for anything that could happen in result from banging on the roof (still waiting for them to come take care of that. But they stay in contact).

From the amazing front office staff (thanks Mallory!) to quotes, and adjuster, Dupont keeps you informed and up to date every step of the way. Annah is so incredible! I didn’t have to deal with my company at all! Dupont handled it all. I’d you want one less stress, go with James and his team.
