Just had roofing system replaced by these guys. Did a GREAT professional job. Estimate was way lower than others. Quality products used per my choice. Salesman Alonzo was very ontime and helpful, no pressure. Work done earlier than expected. Complete cleanup and haul away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

James did an awesome job! Quote was comparable with other companies and the roof was completed two weeks before the promised start date. Everyone was professional and took pride in their work. Premises was constantly being cleaned and inspected. I would definitely recommend James Johnson and Southside Roofing!

I cannot recommend Southside Roofing enough. I had my roof replaced after Hurricane Laura and the staff was INSANELY busy and still, responded to my every call and every text. After the ice storm, I noticed water in places under my carport that I had not had, before. So I called Southside back. They explained to me that after the hurricane they had subcontracted many many licensed roofing contractors to try to get roofs up for people as quickly as possible, but that not all of these contractors were created equal. They immediately had a new crew out at my house, repairing the work that the former crew had done. There was a Southside supervisor at my house for the entirety of the job. They addressed every single one of my questions and concerns and in all honestly, went above and beyond. The owner even came out afterwards and inspected the roof himself. I saw firsthand how busy they were right after the hurricane and how chaotic it was, they were doing everything they could. I appreciate that they stood behind their product, made it right AND made me feel like an important, valued customer. I will continue to to be a customer and to send friends and family to them. 5 Stars 🌟👏

As an emergency physician I have encountered probably ~50,000 people administering care to patients from Louisiana to Florida and I’d like them all to know to think twice before doing business with Southside Roofing. I don’t know what kind of business Billy Savely and Coty Richard are running, but it ain’t an honest roofing company. Two months ago they told me they’d start in 6 weeks, which would’ve been reasonable. One problem: NEITHER of the two houses I had planned to get done with them even had materials delivered yet. NO THANKS. Why tell people a timeline you know isn’t feasible? Greed. Pure and simple. Meanwhile people like me have been doing everything to mitigate damage and get ready to renovate while waiting on a roof.

REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! After Hurricane Laura, we hired Lake Charles Southside Roofing to redo the roof. We chose architectural shingles to replace the architectural shingles that were originally on the house. That type of shingle is rated for 130 mph winds. The roof was replaced after Hurricane Laura and before Hurricane Delta. Nick Simon was supposed to come and inspect the roof before the final payment. He NEVER showed. After Delta hit with 96 mph gusts, we had all kinds of missing shingles from the back side of the house. Now we were told to pay the final balance because the Delta damage was not warranted. Owner Bill Savely says in his commercial, “Best warranty in town. No tricks, no gimmicks.” They refused to fix the damage. I refused to pay. I filed a complaint with the State’s Attorney General. They eventually came to fix the damaged shingles. We still had to pay an additional $975 to have the missing shingles replaced. We bought the shingles out of pocket. The original salesman Jesse Edwards, never gave us the Senior Citizen’s Discount. General Manager Coty RIchard said it would be taken off the final bill. He was personally going to come out and inspect the roof repairs. He NEVER showed. Final bill was paid, and no discount was taken off. I have the papers to prove it. We discovered that the roofers had dropped roofing nails through all the turbines into the attic. My attic floor was littered with roofing nails. My son stepped on three of them. The entire back side of the roof will have to be redone once all this mess settles down. It will NOT be done by this disreputable company. Their word is no good and their warranty means nothing.

This company refuses to pay their hard working roofers! I DO NOT recommend this company to anybody! I would of gave it a 0 star rating if that was an option! PAY YOUR ROOFERS ON TIME FOR THERE HARD WORK!!!

No one showed up or called to reschedule or cancel appointment. I called a second time and still nothing. I truly wanted to use a local company.

Great customer service throughout my entire experience with this company! John Wayne came out to give us an estimate and explained everything in detail. The workers did a great job and completed our new roof in one day. They left our yard clean and protected my flowers on the side of my house. Our new roof looks amazing, I love the shingle color that John suggested would match our home. We would highly recommend using Southside Roofing.
