Rob will not return your calls or texts. We had our roof replaced in Aug 2022 and ended up with several leaks. Rob won’t stand behind his warranty so we had to contact another roofing contractor to fix his subpar work. Found out from the new roofer that all our shingles were shot through so the only thing holding the shingles to the roof is the adhesive.

We hired PPC to complete a job abandoned by another contractor. PPC finished in two days what had taken a previous firm more than 9 months to start and eventually abandon. Not only did PPC complete the job, they were able to fix multiple defects left behind by this previous contractor. The siding looks great and the constant communication made for a great experience throughout. Thanks!

Rob knew there was rain coming and knew our roof was leaking and made sure it got done before another rain. They were all very easy to work with and talk to about anything and are very reasonably priced. I’ve never worked with such great people!

I’ve called or texted the PPC Roofing manager Robert Hocken more than 6 times since they replaced my shingles a month ago and haven’t gotten any kind of response. He says they are a certified GAF shingle installer which allows them to give the client a longer manufacturers warranty on the shingles. Can’t get him to provide me a receipt to submit to GAF for a warranty. I’ve also picked up over 130 nails in my yard since they left. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER ROOFING CONTRACTORS. DONT USE THIS ONE. (The name on my post is an alias, so of course its not in your database. You know who I am. )

In regards to David Erickson’s post: My Name is Cesar. Rob Hocken, the owner of PPC Roofing, has been sub contracting to my crew and I this year. Rob had not mentioned David Erickson to me until I let him know that a man with Minnesota plates, and a black truck had been lurking around my crew. I knew nothing about this man except for the fact that he has made us uncomfortable and his presence is unnecessary and unwelcome. I’m just trying to tell every body to be careful with that guy he’s just out of his mind. What he has spoken about Rob is far from the truth. Rob Hocken has always been communicative and professional. I will continue to enjoy working with him and thanks Rob for giving me a chance to be part of the PPC Roofing family 👍

I submitted we needed a new roof on August 10, 2020 (day of the derecho). He showed up that day. After that we didn’t hear from him until October. He was injured… We reached out to him again in November. Put a down payment and signed the contract November 20, 2020. We were told work would begin that week in November (no snow yet). We then didn’t hear from them until the 3rd time we call, February 2021. Just to confirm we were down for spring. He confirms we are one of the first properties to be taken care of. We then don’t hear from them until April 22nd. I texted Marc wondering when work would begin, his response…”I’m surprised you’re not done. Sorry for the delay I’ll check on the situation immediately.” We are then informed it would be completed that week. Roof doesn’t get done, yet again…I reach out at the end of that week to see if it’s going to get done over the weekend. He responds that the scheduler had been calling me to set up a day and time. I never had a missed call, so I call the scheduler, he pretty much says that it’s my problem because I didn’t answer my phone. I told him nobody has called. We get it scheduled for Tuesday this week. He then calls back to inform me that they had written down the wrong phone number to reach me. Tuesday of this week comes and goes, contact them Wednesday, when is it getting done. They say Thursday, no Friday… then this morning say it will be done today. 5 minutes later there are people on my roof. We were being very lenient because our roof wasn’t that bad. Thinking they could take care of the people that need a roof more so first. I’m happy with how the roof came out, very unhappy with their professionalism.
