Very poor communication. Owners lacks empathy for customer situations and he does not value your time. Lots of false promises. Over promises and under delivers. You’re better off going elsewhere.

My roof developed a leak. Called Big Bear and Jason immediately came. Did a great inspection of entire roof. Found an additional problem with the chimney cap. Got quote and scheduled service. Was able to get an earlier appointment due to an unexpected opening, which was greatly appreciated. The work crew was very friendly and it was obvious that they cared about my problem and worked hard through out the repair. Afterwards, got a call from both Tim and Jason to review what was done and explained about the warranty I received. Would recommend Big Bear to anyone that was great service and great communication.

We hired Big Bear Roofing to restore our aging roof! Our first point of contact was Daniel and he was very informative and timely with everything! The team did a great job and delivered a quality roof! Highly recommend them!

Two years ago, we commissioned Chad Bearup doing business as Big Bear Roofing to replace the roof on our house. It was approximately an 8,000 sq. ft. job. Two octagonal pyramid peaks on the house and gazebo were supposed to be fitted with metal caps to replace the copper ones that were torn off for the reroofing. It has been two-plus years, and Chad is still balking at finishing the job. He still claims that we are “on the list” of jobs to finish. He claimed that he had Briggs Steel in Rigby to do the fabrication of such structures in the past, but they no longer did such work. We called Briggs Steel on July 7, 2023, and they said otherwise. Additionally, there are secondary obligations that were not met. They were contracted to clean the gutters of construction debris. They didn’t. They were contracted to clear our yard of nails and other debris. They didn’t do it very well. They were quick to leave when it started to get warm, and they never came back. We live at 1219 College Rd in Pocatello, and you can see where a cap is missing on the peak on the right side of the house above the diamond windows. I suspect that they do passable work on small jobs, but don’t trust them with jobs that may be over their heads. We were stupid to pay before the job was completed. We were stupid to generously tip the crew. Never again.

I did not know it at the time, but when Eddie Moreno from Big Bear Roofing knocked on my front door and told me I needed to replace my roof, it was a lucky day. After looking at the evidence and talking to some other contacts, Linda and I decided to go ahead with the contract. Eddie stayed on top of all the details involved in the job and made sure everything stayed on track. The crew he sent over was competent, energetic, and worked well together. Ten minutes after arrival, they were tearing off the old roof. Six hours later, they were finished and packing up their trucks. It was a good experience all around.

I contacted Big Bear Roofing because they had done a terrific job replacing the roof on our neighbor’s home after hail damage. Chaun Siemple visited our home, photographed the roof using a drone, and recommended several repairs. He arranged for the repairs to be done and we were very satisfied with the service.
