DM Construction 2 years agoFirst, the owner, Derek, did not pull a permit. He fought and was confrontational with the city planning inspector. He told the city planner that he didn’t now what he was talking about. the inspector ordered him to tear the garage down and to basically start over. He started this process and ran out of money, left my job and did not complete it. He left the project without communication with me at all. He informed me that he operates using only his personal capital and could not pay his workers, which isn’t my problem because he was paid over 13K of the project cost. when I sent him a text he said if he didn’t get more money he was not going to finish the job. He failed to pay his workers.Therefore, they walked off the site ( can’t blame them). Derek isn’t someone you want to do business with. He simply is an amateur contractor, very prideful and not a good problem solver. Steer clear from hiring him unless it’s for a small dog kennel. I ended up hiring GloryBelle Construction company. They are very professional, reliable and honest. They corrected the mess Derek made. Ben, owner GloryBelle communicates with me every step of the way. His team of workers are on time and works hard to meet deadlines.

David Taylor Construction Inc. Asphalt Plant a week agoDavid Taylor and his crew were terrific. They put in an asphalt driveway for us at our home and David kept us updated, he visited the job site daily and his crew kept the job site clean and tidy. When we have any other concrete or asphalt needs he will be our first call. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
