09/08/2022 To whom it may concern, a representative from your company reported to my home on 03/09.2021 and completed an estimate for siding for my home. Afterwards I have contacted your secretary via phone twice and was informed that someone would get back with me. I am disappointed that at this point that no one has contacted me to make arrangements for the siding work to be carried out or even to inform me of any unforeseen circumstances that may have prevented the process taking place. My father-in-law had Drawdy install a new roof on his home in 2019. He is currently selling his home but the roof failed inspection. The inspector (s) said that the roof was installed over rotten wood among other problems. When contacted by the realtor Drawdy refused to take responsibility or make repairs. In order to sell his house now my father-in-law is having to pay $8k + for roof repairs to someone who knows what he is doing. Edit in response to owners response – The fact remains that my father-in-law had to come down $8K on the selling price after losing 3 buyers just because of the condition of the roof – that had been installed less than 2 years before. The buyers had their own inspector and he told them it was due to rotten wood. Even if that’s not the case and this was something you see all the time you should have taken steps to prevent it from happening or at least told him that it could happen and explain to him what could be done, perhaps by a carpenter, before replacing the roof to prevent it. Maybe if he had stayed in the house for 20 more years it wouldn’t have mattered to him, but for someone buying the house they were wary of buying it with a sagging roof and it cost him money on the sale. I hope you take this into consideration when you see this situation again.
