I bought this home in 2020. In 2018 the previous owner had a 14 solar panel system installed on an aged roof that should have been replaced before the solar panels were installed. I decided to replace the roof this June, 6 years since the solar panels were installed. I did my due diligence in finding a VERY reputable and VERY well reviewed roofing company, and happily signed the contract with ANC Roofing. After the panels were removed by the solar company and during the removal of the old shingles by ANC Roofing, I was shown an extensive amount of damaged and rotted plywood where the 14 solar panel mounting rails had been removed. In total, 16 sheets of plywood had to be replaced on the entire roof. Profoundly, 13 of them came from directly underneath where the solar panels were mounted into the roof rafters. Looking at some of the removed plywood that was under the panels it was apparent to me that, in 2018, the solar panels were originally installed unprofessionally. In short, roof rafters are slightly less than 2 inches wide. I found that, when the solar panel installers installed the panels in 2018, there were numerous holes “predrilled” through the plywood on either side of nearly each and every rafter where the solar panel mounting brackets were attached to the rafters. The panel installers were trying to find the center of the 2” roof rafters to install the each mounting bracket lag bolt into, vice measuring center-on-center from the first rafter bracket installed correctly. The lack of caulking to fill in the “predrilled” holes on each side of the rafters under the solar panel brackets allowed water to penetrate the shingles over the last 6+ years and rotted the 13 sheets of plywood and necessitated the replacement of 24 linear feet of rotted roof rafters. The day the roof was complete, I contacted my case manager Jessica at ANC Roofing and asked her to send me the pictures that ANC Roofers routinely take of any and all of the bad wood when they have to replace wood on ANY of their roofing jobs. It is also routine for the ANC roofers to physically number (with spray paint it looked like as seen from my front yard) each sheet of new plywood they replace so the customer can see for themselves the placement of the new plywood. During an intense but professional phone conversation with the solar company leadership (where I did most of the talking) as to my position on what their company did to my roof, I emailed them 2 of the 72 pictures of my roof taken by ANC Roofers. The first picture was of the water damage to the underlayment and rafters and the 2nd was of the new “NUMBERED” underlayment showing “16”. After seeing the images, the solar company agreed to reimburse me my well spent $1522 worth of all new underlayment/installation-labor that ANC found and documented for this American homeowner. In that regard, ANC Roofing did remarkable work in returning this 67 year-old Navy Submarine veteran’s roof to optimal use. (Submariners do NOT tolerate water leaks at work or at their HOMES!) I let leadership know the military veteran “removal team” performed magnificently and professionally. I also let the leadership know that prior to the “reinstallation team” going on my roof, I will be showing the young veterans the pictures of what the results of their predecessors did to my roof back in 2018. I’ll let them the reinstallation team know that when it’s time to begin applying the caulking, I want them to come get me first, I’ll give them a bottle of cold water and go back up on the roof with them. It is my intention to watch that every single drop of caulking be applied as required…..all $1522 dollars’ worth of caulking! Next Wednesday the solar panel company will arrive to reinstall the panels on the new roof. If it wasn’t for the incredibly professional roofing employees and staff of ANC Roofing, I might not have been able to make right what went wrong back in 2018. My sincere thanks to ANC Roofing! The ANC Roofing crew showed up right on time and even though they encountered some damage to my roof that needed to be repaired and replaced they completed installation of all shingles in one day! They also removed some of the stucco on a second-floor wall to repair a leak, installed new barrier material, applied new stucco and then completed painting early on the next day. Within 5 hours there was a tornado warning, with 60 mph winds and torrential downpour. I’ve never been more thankful that I had hired such an experienced and efficient company as ANC roofing. I’m now ready for the upcoming hurricane season with a roof that not only beautiful, but also meets Miami-Dade code!

I highly recommend ANC Roofing for any roofing needs. Our tile roof, poorly installed during construction, caused numerous leaks over the years. Despite working with multiple roofing companies to address the issue, only ANC Roofing truly recognized the problem and provided effective solutions. We just moved to Orlando and needed a new roof ASAP. ANC Roofing was able to provide quotes, deliver the material and complete the job all within a couple weeks. Very professional and courteous. Always made themselves available for questions. Would definitely recommend!

HIRE ANC ROOFING! I initially contacted ANC Roofing to investigate a leak I was having. The response was fantastic. Within a few days someone was onsite to inspect the issue. That was followed up with pictures and description of the problems found. However… this was only the beginning! Arman then contacted me, and suggested I file an insurance claim, as the repairs would likely be covered by insurance. I ended up getting a complete re-roof. Let me tell you, the experience with ANC for the re-roof was great. A team of about 10 guys descended on my home early one morning. they covered everything around my home in tarps to protect from falling debris, even covering my entire pool! They pulled the old roof, replaced any rotted wood / rafters that required it, and install the new roof all in one day. they cleaned everything up and left… an you couldn’t even tell they were there. Just great. The communication and response from everyone in the office was great as well. All of my emails and calls were responded to extremely quick. It just could not have been a better experience. I will absolutely use ANC for any future work that needs to be done.

My roof was in need of a re-roof and ANC Roofing along with Jim Weaver (sales rep and estimator) were highly recommended to me by a friend. Jim Weaver was friendly, highly knowledgeable and provided me with a fair estimate for the job. It immediately became apparent to me as to why both where highly recommended. – Friendly, professional and highly experienced! One can see why they’ve been in the business for over thirty years. The entire process was pleasant experience and went without a hitch. And everyone I interacted with: Jim, Julberte, Jessica and the roof workers were all friendly and professional. As for the roof itself, it looks great. And I should add that the roofers did an excellent job from the initial set-up to the final cleaning of the area once the roof was completed.
