I will preface this by saying that lots of big construction projects in the Eastpoint/Saint George Island area take precedent over small home repairs, making it difficult to get things done and done well. We had a leak dripping in one of our bedrooms, and it was quickly determined that it was a roof issue near what I call the chimney box. We contacted several companies, advertising that they do “repair” and most did not even return the call. A couple of companies advertise that they cover the area but are actually located very far away. I was told there was a roofing company with a new base in Eastpoint, and I called about our issue. John, the owner, was at our house in a few days, looked at the issue and even did a drone video. He was, fortunate for us, willing to tackle the problem. We had, of course, to wait for an opening and then wrestle with the weather. When they got around to our project, they did excellent work. Not to our surprise, the roof issue required some other work on the wooden chimney structure, but John took care of that and found first, some carpenters and then a painter to make it all look good. John was very understanding and businesslike and we are very pleased with the final result.
