I was introduced to Jake from Rhyne Restoration Roofing, by a friend of mine. From The First Time I met Jake he was extremely professional, took care of all my concerns. Seeing this was the first time I’ve ever been through a hurricane, I was very nervous about who to hire. I have heard so many horror stories about people getting ripped off. Companies wanting half the money up front, companies not fulfilling their job, not doing a good job, this made me very very nervous. I was given a price, a timeline, and everything was done to my satisfaction in a timely matter, in fact it was done ahead of time by at least a month. I needed a total redo of my roof, it wasn’t a shingle, it was a clay roof. Jake found the roofing that I needed. He called me one day and said it’ll be in your driveway tomorrow morning. It was there the next morning as he had promised. They started two days later, my roof was complete in 4 days, I couldn’t be happier. Even my neighbors couldn’t believe how quickly this was being done. Five stars the Rhyme Restoration Roofing, I wish I could give them six.

I had a new aluminum standing seam roof installed. The tear off crew weren’t the best. They left a mess on the property. However, the installer was very thorough and finished the job quickly and with excellent results. I have posted pictures of the new roof on Home Advisor reviews.

The work Rhyne did with my roof was good, appreciated the virtual inspections they arranged, so our roof work was done quickly, once the materials came in. However, our contractor who at first was very responsive and attentive, and who gave us a quote for our lanai repair along with replacing our roof, and also repairing the inside of our house, he then stopped answering our calls near the time when our materials were close to coming in. We signed the contract which included roof, flat roof, screen and lanai repair, but at the time of final inspection on the roof by another person who represented Rhyne, we were told your company no longer had a screen person/company, so we went ahead and hired another company to fix our lanai, paying someone else, even tho verbally I was given a price for the screen and lanai repair from Rhyne, that amount was not honored, and I ended up paying for work that was not done, but lesson learned on my part. I was told that your representative undersold our roof, that he hadn’t ran it through the office to have it signed off and approved, (but your company had to have used something to order our metal roof.) Even tho those issues were not on me, I did pay so as not to have any lien placed, and have received the warranty information on the roof. But just know, IF your contractor had continued being involved and communicating with us, instead of stopping all communication, and even when I would call the office, there really was no follow through, you could have had more business with us. We were not unreasonable, just wanted communication. We understood so many roofing projects were needed in the area, and workers and supplies were in high demand, all we asked for was to let us know what was going on. So in short, while we love our new roof, and even when we needed someone to come back out since a vent was leaking into our microwave, they did come out and repair it, it was not a good experience having someone you put your faith in to help through this horrible experience of your home being ripped apart, just leave you in the lurch, or dust, given I had ripped out a majority of the drywall right after Hurricane Ian. And, if someone gives you a quote on a repair to be included, have that amount written in the contract. Don’t just take the representative’s word.
