Had a terrible experience dealing with this company. This was the worst I’ve ever been treated before when dealing with a contractor. I called and asked them for a quote to have my roof done and two days later after I had to call them again to ask why they never sent me a quote I received a text message with the amount of money it was going to cost me to have my roof done. Since I was going to finance the replacement of my roof with my bank I needed an actual written up contract so that I could submit it to them. When I called them and asked if I could please have the contract emailed to me rather than just having a text message saying the total amount it would cost me, they very rudely said that the reason they were not going to provide me with and actual contract was because they did not have time to waste on someone who was shopping around for prices. I explained to them that I had every right to shop around for prices since I’m the one who ultimately is going to end up paying for the repairs. They said I could call someone else and hung up the phone on me. I would not recommend them to anyone that know and I believe that if they refuse to provide costumer with the information that they need and instead behave in a very rude and inappropriate manner they should just not be in business.

If selecting no stars were an option, that’s precisely what I would have done. After spending over $37K, I found myself having to invest even more to rectify their errors. They were contracted to replace my roof and address leaks in specific sections. However, not only did they fail to fix the leaks, they exacerbated the problem. Their removal and improper reinstallation of gutters and flashing resulted in green mold cascading down the areas where the gutters had been detached. Despite a return visit to repair the roof, which should have been done right the first time, the damage to the interior of my house had already been done. Shockingly, they refused to address the damage caused by their subpar workmanship and declined to rectify the faulty reinstallation of gutters and flashing. Consequently, I had to engage three separate companies, each costing me thousands of dollars, to rectify their shoddy workmanship. This included the complete overhaul of my bathroom, which required ripping out, re-sheetrocking, and repainting. Another roofing company corroborated their poor workmanship and was compensated to correct the incorrectly reinstalled gutters and flashing. Furthermore, a separate company was hired to power wash the house due to the green mold resulting from the water overflow. I STRONGLY ADVISE considering alternatives before engaging this roofing company. If I had more time I would include the pictures, but trust me, it was an awful experience.

Would not recommend. Did a complete reroof on my home. It started in July of 2023, and company did a great job on my mothers roof is why I used them. I signed the contract and shingles were sent to my home and sat on my roof for almost 2 weeks before work started. This could have been due to permitting, not sure. Stripped it and left trash in the yard for a week after removing the dumpster. When I sent a email about the trash and asking when the shingles would be put on the crew showed up next day. I received a email after the shingles were on requesting final payment. I paid it, a total of $16,000. A few days later I received a certified letter from company advising a Lien would be placed on my home if I did not pay. I contacted the owner and was told to ignore it, all was well. I asked if everything was good and was told yes. I contacted the building department a week later and found out the roof had failed the initial inspection for the dry in and it was not addressed. They went ahead and put the shingles on the roof and wanted final payment. Now I have a roof that has not been inspected and this company will not make it right. Definitely do not recommend

I’d like to give NO stars!!!! I didn’t even have a chance to get a quote. I was told on the phone that if I wanted the quote, if I purchased the house, they get the job. I actually thought the guy was joking! I said that I would like to get other quotes and was told he doesn’t work for free and hung up on me. Well, now he definitely won’t get the job!

This company installed my roof 3 years ago, a wall has collapsed, water is flowing in, and the owner of the company said that I have no warranty with him and hung up on me!

Beyond professional, exceptional service. Rene immediately put me at ease during what was for me a very stressful time. Honest and friendly, he is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things were done right and that I was satisfied. My roof was done perfectly and I had no hesitation recommending him to my neighbors. Since then, I have used them to paint the exterior of the house and plan to use them again should the need arise.

I bought a house a few months ago and during the inspection issues with the roof came up. Thankfully, the sellers were willing to have the issues repaired, they used Sunshine for this and provided us the receipts. Less than a month into owning the house, we had 2 VERY active leak on opposite sides of the house. We called Sunshine since the this is where the repairs were and they came to evaluate the leaks. One of the leaks they mentioned was easy to fix and did a quick patch on the spot. The other leak they took pictures of and left. They said was an issue with the chimney and they aren’t a chimney repair company. Oddly enough, on the receipt provided to us, outlines repairs that were done to the chimney. After they left, they wouldn’t share the pictures they took, wouldn’t return any of our calls and became very rude via text messages. The couple that sold us the house paid $3800 to have the repairs done, which was clearly a scam. I would never use Sunshine Roofing and would never recommend them.

VERY RUDE!!! They do not stand behind their work. Owner hung up on me. Leaky roof and they do not fix. Stay way!
