Florida Standard Roofing was referred by a friend and I’m glad I went with this family owned company to redo my roof and my mother’s flat roof. Workers were respectful and kept the area clean. Work was done very fast and beautifully. They were on time every time they came out. So far we’ve had some heavy rain and no leaks! Feels good to have peace of mind. I would definitely and have recommend Florida Standard Roofing to friends and family!

Quality work, great value and very responsive management. Knowledgeable professionals and very hard working. Brand new roof with flat black tyles that looks super modern plus upgrades to the roof attachment to the house structure to bring it up to code. Calls were always answered. Unforeseen issues were promptly addressed. According to FL SunBiz, they’ve been around since 2007. They’re registered & insured. Furthermore, the company also maintains an office/warehouse.

Absolutely the worst I’ve had to deal with. Never even showed up even after I called them several times – Do not believe the reviews- probably written by the workers of company. This company could not provide proof of INSURANCE. Stay away from these types of companies.

After getting a few roof estimates, researching Google and Angie’s list, I found Florida Standard Roofing. Their reviews were excellent, so I checked out the website. It was comprehensive and user friendly. I called and made an appointment with Danny Crespo, owner, for an estimate on a new roof. Danny arrived on time and answered all of my and my husbands questions. He was very polite, informative, and patient. Danny is a 3rd generation roofer. His father, Luis Crespo, was also onsite during the roof rebuild. Both of them were always very polite and helpful. Danny told us that he/his company was certified as a Master Elite GAF Timberline roofing company. While we really liked that his company had that rating, what sold us on Danny was the great reviews of his company’s work, and after meeting him we felt confident that he was honest and competent. He was always available, and if he couldn’t answer a call, he’d return it right away. Danny, provided us with a folder of information, the likes of which NO contractor has ever offered us before. It was filled with pertinent roofing and material information, descriptions of product, a client reference list of 80 names and phone numbers of customers who had their roofs worked on by Florida Standard Roofing, a list of 32 GAF Shingled roofs, completed by his company, with addresses, for us to view, a letter of introduction with a lot of buyer friendly information and web sites where you can look up and confirm his company’s license is active, copies of the company’s license and certificate of Liability Insurance, plus a ‘vocabulary’ page of ‘common roofing terminology’ and diagrams of the ‘anatomy of a roof. Brilliant! THAT’s confidence in your company and work. We knew then that we were going to have Danny do our roof. His estimate was not the cheapest, but I knew he would do the best work. It took me a year to finally start the roof, (not because of Danny’s schedule, but because of mine), but I spoke with Danny many times over that period and he always answered all of my questions and made every effort to work with my schedule. He is one patient guy! We had to get past 2 surgeries, my daughters Sweet 16 birthday party, Hurricane Irma and the Holidays, before we could finally get to our roof…but the biggest reason we had to delay was because we had to find a competent person to remove/support our patio cage/enclosure, and replace the super gutter that is between the screened cage and the rotten fascia board that we wanted Florida Standard Roofing to replace. We finally found someone competent to replace the super gutter, so we coordinated them with Florida Standard Roofing, and our schedules, to begin in February. The shingles were delivered by a big truck with a boom that had a conveyor belt on it. On roofing day, and every day, the crew arrived on time. They were very polite and neat. They cleaned up at the end of the day too, using a magnet to pick up stray nails in the yard, etc. I asked them to put a cover over the patio, to protect the new tile and pool, and to keep nails from leaving rust stains, and they covered it everyday they worked in that area. I never saw a crew work so hard, from the moment they arrived, until they left at 5pm. (They took a well deserved hour for lunch). We discovered that we have a tongue in groove roof. It needed a lot of wood replaced, especially in the 2 valleys. We had new 1×8 PT fascia board replaced around the entire house, and 2×8 PT fascia on the patio, plus some rotten soffit was replaced. The crew installed GAF Pro Start Shingles on all eaves an rakes, GAF Cobra Ridge Exhaust Vents, GAF Timberline Lifetime High Def. shingles, GAF Storm Guard Film Surfaced Secondary Leak Barrier, (qualifying owner to receive an insurance discount), GAF Seal-a-Ridge protective ridge Cap Shingles, and new drip line. We were very pleased with Danny and his awesome crew, at Florida Standard Roofing, and highly recommend them.

Florida Standard Roofing is the best by far! Other roofers cannot compare in any way, shape, or form. They were an organized machine, efficient and the job was over before we knew it with no stress. The price was the best too! We cannot say enough good things…Our neighbors commented on it too! And we are picky!
