They caused a PUBLIC SAFETY HAZARD INVOLVING CARBON MONOXIDE. Atlantic was contracted through our association at Summit House Condominiums to work on the roof of our building. During the work, Atlantic damaged our AC unit and disconnected the gas hot water heater vent that vents poisonous carbon monoxide gas to the outside. Shane, the owner, told me at 11:14 AM that the AC was being worked on that no more entries to the unit would be necessary and that the repair would be 4 hours or longer and that he would notify me once they were done. He didn’t reach out to me again that day so we thought it was working as he led me to believe it would be. Over 10 hours later, at 9:25 PM, we learn from our tenants (just arriving home from work) that the AC was still not working. Shane didn’t contact us to inform us that the AC wasn’t working. I felt compelled to pay for my tenant to stay in a hotel since the condo was too hot and uncomfortable for them to get good rest. Since Bosshardt (association manager) contracted Atlantic to do work, we feel as though one or both of them are responsible for refunding the 2 nights our tenants had to stay in a hotel. I have texted Shane several times to address it and he has yet to respond. He also didn’t respond to me about the carbon monoxide issue which is of the utmost importance. Our tenants were living in a unit for four months before we realized it was an issue. This is dangerous and potentially deadly. We were disappointed to say the least that he didn’t care to respond to us in reference to the vent. The association manager has informed me that, even though they contracted Atlantic, it is my responsibility to do the work to get a refund from Atlantic. Atlantic has yet to respond to my messages. Attached are pictures of the two vents Atlantic left disconnected. The gray one is the carbon monoxide vent. Notice the roof debris on the hot water heater they didn’t clean either. Response to your response: It was not the AC contractor that caused the damage and you should be ashamed for being dishonest and blaming them for you potentially deadly disregard. It was your company that damaged the AC unit which is why you were made to pay for the repair of the AC unit since you couldn’t make the AC company pay for what you damaged. However, I’m not a big company so you refused to pay or repair the inside damage you caused. Not to mention the danger you put people in with your reckless disregard. Shame on you Shane! Repost.

I most highly recommend Atlantic Roofing. We had an aged flat roof and asked for their bid for a replacement. They provided a thorough consultation, explained our options, and sent a competitive bid which we accepted. The work proceeded promptly and the workmanship was superb. We were provided with daily reviews of progress, and our lot was left in great shape. Our questions were completely answered, and we can’t imagine how the process could have been better. If your roof needs attention, get Atlantic Roofing on it.

I am pleased to submit a review of my experience with Atlantic Roofing. My husband and I were impressed with their promptness, laying of drop cloths to protect our plants/property, and the tarp they placed on the side walk so we could walk “nail free.” The dumpster was placed 24-hours before work began. They were on time, took a short lunch break and went right back to work. They worked like a well oiled machine! Every person had a specific job and it was done without loud music, smoking, cursing, yelling or being intrusive to our neighbors. The cleanup afterward was remarkable. The weather permitted them to finish on schedule. Should you be in the market for roofing repair or installation, I would strongly recommend securing Atlantic Roofing!

I usually don’t like to post anything on media platform, but because my roof was such a big-ticket item, and I am very pleased with the rate and the professionalism of how the company handle me as a consumer who needed to replace a 20 yr. old roof, it started with Bob Nichols who come to my home to complete the initial assessment of the roof, Lindsey Spencer and others in the office was very kind , and professional, while being able to answer all of my questions, and concerns I had, then the roofers came out and put the icing on the cake( Which is my personal metaphor) by doing an amazing job on my roof in 12 hours and also cleaned-up every bit of the roofing debris prior to leaving my property. Thanks Again Atlantic Roofing. If anyone is looking for a great roofing company, maybe my review will help if you are needing a new roof.

I didn’t hire them to get work done, but my neighbors did – I’m not on speaking terms with my neighbor, so I received no warning that the roofing company was showing up until I hear them outside my house scraping stuff off my neighbors roof (we’re in connected townhomes) into a trailer next to my car at 7 am. I was not warned to move my car which is getting hit by debris from the neighboring building, however I moved it on my own. Hours later I was asked to move my other car, (which was actually my neighbors). The workers were totally capable of warning me before they started, they just chose not to, which should have already been a red flag. They also used my outside water hose (which I blocked off) instead of my neighbors, which is literally closer to them and with easier access, then removed my nozzle AND left it on overnight. Not even sure why they needed my hose if your replacing my neighbors roof??? Various trash was left both outside my front and backyard, the job lasting two days and was only cleaned after the last day. However, they only cleaned my neighbor side, not my side, so now I have a flat tire from nails left in my driveway alongside the various wrappers to all the supplies they used. They also moved my garbage can, which was nowhere NEAR where they were working, and never moved it back, so it’s not like they were at a loss as to how to clean. Seems like they only take care of those who hired them, if you see this company working on your neighbors, be aware! EDIT: They responded to my review, but won’t respond to any of my voicemails regarding payment for the tire replacement that was both promised by HR and the owner – after I was asked several times to actually deleted this review! So obviously they’re not doing anything to actually solve the problem. My house has cameras, and you can see they only knocked on my door once the night prior at 9PM. No note was left and multiple visits were in fact not made. On top of that, no, the hose is not in the middle. It’s on the left and you have to leave the property you were assigned to, to even be able to reach my water access. And if job sites were cleaned everyday, then how does the last two photos even exist then? Should we also bring up how you even agreed to come back to clean, but didn’t fully get everything AGAIN? I can’t tell what’s more of a joke, the quality of your work or a lack of professionalism.

Very disappointing. Found out over a year after having a metal roof installed that it wasn’t done correctly. We asked them to fix it, and thought they did, only to find out later that it was still not done right. Not sure if it is lack of crew oversight, lack of crew experience, or what, but I definitely cannot recommend them after this.

$18,000 new metal roof installed by Atlantic. Problems with mice and bugs in the winters afterwards. Went up into attic and saw daylight! It became obvious that ridge vent material that allows ventilation but prevents rodents and bugs from getting into the attic was missing. Their crew had run out of material 1/2 way through and just screwed down the rest of the ridge cap with no barrier. After multiple calls and weeks going by they finally sent out a crew out. Fast forward this winter and still problems in the attic. Inspected their repair more carefully and found that, not only did they use material that doesn’t allow venting, but they also left out a portion over the garage that they thought we’d never see. We love supporting local businesses but can you imagine nearly 20 thousand for a new roof and their crew was too lazy or dishonest to go buy a $25 roll????? But even worse can you imagine they had a second chance to make it right and failed again??? Neither can we.
