In 2021 Competition Roofing did roofing work for me at my little home here in Upland.The professionalism is only one aspect of why this business is the standard of hometown customer service , business and personal integrity . So much so that I’ve actually asked them for their list of other business providers because I trust their recommendations! The personable , kindness and patience from everyone I’ve dealt with in this business is 10+stars ,from Bob the owner, to Frankie , excellent , stand out service. I am so thoroughly impressed with Mr. Currie and his team. They have been extremely professional and responsive. He developed so much trust with us throughout this process. Our building required a new roof and his quote was straightforward and set us at ease right away. I highly recommend this company.

Our roof was in desperate need of replacement. Bob’s son, Kyle, came out and was informative and respectful. He said the job of stripping off the old roof, repairing any damaged wood, installing paper, trim and new tiles would take a week. This year’s continuous rains kept pushing the job back. With a two day window of no rain, Bob sent his crew out and these guys were on a mission; the job was done and everything was cleaned up in two days. Good job guys!

We originally scheduled an appointment for an estimate on multiple leak repairs back in December of 2021 for our 22,000 sq. ft building but when I called to reschedule the inspection for an estimate I spoke with a man who told me that someone had already gone out for the inspection but we were not open. I mentioned to the man over the phone perhaps the gentleman went to the wrong facility because no one had shown up. He then tells me ill-mannered that if I wanted to get an estimate I would have to google my own square footage and tell him how much it was because he wasn’t going to return to my facility for an estimate. (we are only 19 miles from his business) Supposedly a man waited outside of our building for 4 hours waiting for us to open…kind of unbelievable someone would waste that much time… The man I spoke with was very rude so I told him I wasn’t going to do the work for him to get a potential customer a simple quote… Keep in mind we have several leaks(8-10) in our roof and it was not going to be a small job. Very unprofessional and doesn’t like to put in effort for potential customers… * Kindly address your customers next time and google search things yourself if you don’t want to waste your company’s drive time on sending another tech out.

He personally responded to our inquiries and listened to our concerns from day one. We were so pleased to learn that his staff and roofing crew were just as professional. They were diligent while performing their work and demonstrated complete respect for our privacy and property. Every evening they left a safe and clean work area.
