We used Top Line to re-roof our house several years ago and they did a good job. Recently, we asked them to replace two 13 ft sections of fascia board. The estimate was high ($1640) but we agreed thinking we would get a professional job. Unfortunately, the work was sloppy and unprofessional. A second crew had to be sent to fix the damage from the first one. The result was only marginally better than the first time. Our neighbors, with identical houses, had their fascia boards recently replaced, by other contractors, at a fraction of the cost and they were done in a careful and professional way. We will not use Top Line again. Wayne at topline said they would correct the initial problems and they promptly did. When they came out this time they went above and beyond what I asked and fixed issues I was not aware of. I am satisfied with their work and, especially, that they want to meet the standards we saw in the past. After this, I would recommend them and we will use them again.

This company and team was thorough and methodical when installing my new shingles with solar in the shingles as well as all the o’hagin roof vents of which all looks beautiful. They made sure they were centered and placement well spaced. In addition, roofers were easy to talk to and made time for you whenever there were any questions/concerns. They were quick and very clean. I highly recommend Top Line Roofing for a new roof as well as repairing roofs, I’ve worked with them in both cases on different homes.

Top Line Roofing (TLR) and GAF replaced my old roof with a solar shingle roof. From the start (signing of the contract) to the finish (SDGE granting permission to turn on the power) the project took about 5 months. A substantial portion of this time was related to obtaining permits from the City of San Diego and waiting for the City’s building inspector to approve the work. The actual time for TLR and GAF to do their work was approximately 10 days. At every step the work was done by competent, polite, skilled, hard working professionals. I am totally satisfied by the job done by TLR and GAF. Attached are pictures of the front and back of the house. The back is south facing where the solar shingles can be seen.

10 stars for Top Line Roofing. Wayne was very patient and understanding as we dealt with the Solar Company to take the panels off so he can replace the roof. Very nice people there. totally recommend Top Line Roofing!!!

Had Beto from Top Line Roofing come out to inspect my roof shortly after closing on a home. Needed a new roof as well as repairs to termite damage. Their quote was much more comprehensive than the other bids that came in. Once the work began, their crew was FAST. Hopefully I won’t need to worry about my roof for a long time!

They went above and beyond what was the initial roof survey. They found new broken tiles and crack problems and fixed them within the agreed budget. Jordi and Juan are workers that take their job seriously. Detail oriented and perfectionist attitude makes them highly recommended. Thank you again!

Top Line Roofing did a great job. The Forman/Site Manager you assigned to the project was easy to work with and very responsive to any questions. I’ve lived in San Diego for over 70 years. I thought picking a day in August to re-roof was a safe bet to eliminate any weather related incidents. Then along came hurricane Hillary. I was concerned since the roof was halfway completed when the storm hit. The Forman assured the roof was water tight and there are “no worries”. He was correct. The roof looks great and the work started and ended on schedule with no surprises, other than hurricane Hillary.

The quality of the work, materials and service provided by “Top Line Roofing” to replace my entire tile roof is superb, it is worth every dollar I paid. Wayne is easy to work with and very thorough in explaining the work job choices.

We reviewed several roofing contractors and received estimates. However, we were sure glad we selected Top Line Roofing. Their costs were competitive and their estimate was considerably more detailed than others. The team that performed the re-roofing was outstanding. The resulting roof is fantastic — looks like a piece of art — all the tiles were installed with such detail and repaired many areas from the old roof. Just can’t say enough as to how good of job their team performed. Always kept areas around house clean so we could continue yard work and access our cars. Wayne and Armando were the main contacts and they always kept us informed as to how the work was progressing. Final roof was completed as estimated and as planned. Picture is shown below. They were recommended as a great roofing contractor in our “nextdoor neighborhood” blog and we whole heartedly agree. Highly recommend Top Line Roofing to others.
