With “Huricanes Hilary” we noticed a leak in our roof. We called Jeff at 7:30 pm on a Sunday and he was at my house to fix the leak Monday morning by 7:30 am. He was fair priced and reliable. I would recommend

This is now the second time my family and I used Jeff Hester for our roofing needs. First time was about almost 5 years ago when we had some small noticeable leaks in the ceiling in our family room and garage. A thorough inspection by Jeff, and he confirmed that it was due to several broken tiles that caused the paper underlay to go bad, along with damaging wood sections underneath paper that rotted away because of the breach. Quick fix in both areas and we haven’t had an issue since. More recent visit which was last week, was made because after 3 failed attempts by 3 different general contractors to fix a side leak coming into the living room after every rain, I decided to call Jeff to get his professional opinion on what other possibilities there might be that is causing water to come into the the house, that was leaking/breaching the base board of the living room. Mind you, we’ve already spent a total of over 10K, trying to figure what was causing this, one repair after the other, from various general contractors, sharing that it was a crack from the outside, etc., and with the last contractor sharing that it could be roof related, after this same contractor already cost me $3,000+ to cut out the wall and reinforce it, guaranteeing that this would solve the issue. Desperate and frustrated, this is why I called Jeff because if there was going to be any roof repairs done, the only guy I trust to work on our roof is Jeff Hester, considering my last experience with him. Solid guy to say the least, he took a look at the area above where I shared water was coming into our living room floor, through a particular area, he inspected two levels of roofing and also the areas around the chimney and bingo, with confidence, immediately let me know that this area is what’s been causing water coming in. Bad flashing around the chimney and worn paper underlay and damaged wood was it. Sounded too good to be true, since I couldn’t believe none of the 3 general contractors even thought of this. Let me just say that with yesterday’s rain, I couldn’t believe my eyes to finally see NO WATER coming into our living room, after 3 years of frustration. Jeff even called my right after the rain, just out of curiosity and care to see if his work held up and solved our problem. YES IT DID!!! Thank you Jeff. You are our go to guy for life. I recommend Hester roofing to anyone in need of honest work, straight shooter advice, and someone who actually knows what they are doing. Worth every penny.

We discovered a leak on our roof after my daughter’s bedroom walls became wet after the last rain. Several places I called didn’t call me back, so I was very thankful when Jeff did. He came out yesterday to quote me and was able to come do the repairs today. Not only did he fix the issue but also helped with some preventive work to avoid this happening in the future and he did that for a very reasonable price. The job ended up being more than he anticipated, but he didn’t charge us more than the original quote. And for that I was VERY thankful since our insurance wasn’t covering the repairs. I highly recommend Hester Roofing. It was so great to deal with a professional with so much knowledge in the business, and I didn’t feel like I was taken advantage of. He was just a really nice guy. I will be sure to share his info with my neighbors, and share my great experience.

We had Jeff completely re-roof our 1,300 sq ft home in April 2016. He stripped the old roofing, repaired some underlayment, and added fascia boards to cover the rafters. We were mostly happy with the job he did although there was miscommunication about additional costs that we believed verbally were going to be “a few hundred dollars” and turned out to be almost $2,000 additional. He included a written 5 year warranty at the time of installation. 2 years after installation in 2019 we are selling our house and the termite inspection turned up mold affecting a corner where 2 fascia boards meet. I asked him to come out and fix the issue. He came promptly a day after I called to see what it would take to fix but ended up saying it would cost $500 to fix. He couldn’t exactly state what the warranty would cover, but he was sure that this issue WASN’T covered. It seems like he does okay work, but on his own terms. CUSTOMER BEWARE!
