Remodeling plus+ a year agoHired this contractor to build a small 10×12 building on a existing slab. He said it would take 18 days and after around 30 days he walked off the job because he couldn’t pay his help once he exhausted the money we agreed to. Just like another reviewer he would show up late, leave early, spent too much time on his personal problems, always something. His response is the typical contractor garbage that the scope changed and that is a lie since he didn’t finish installing the door, all the sheathing and roof metal, trim, soffits, insulation, plumbing vent, dryer vent, caulk, paint, tie in water, clean up etc. I’m not saying he isn’t a nice guy with a wealth of carpentry experience, I’m saying he has so many personal problems and lack of motivation that in the end you will have to find someone to finish what he started or finish it yourself like me. If you want to hire him, I wish you good luck. All future contractors who work for me WILL provide a detailed scope of work, fee and schedule that details that time is of the essence.

Handy Andy Handyman Services a month agoI called this person to get a quote on some work. When he answered he asked where was the home because he noticed my number is a Houston zip code. I proceeded to tell him the street which he was familiar with. He then went on a rant about how he wouldn’t waste his time trying to talk about an “idea”. I told him I wanted to get the home boarded up while I’m working on it to prevent trespassing. He then continued to rant and this time told me that this isn’t Houston and there aren’t 50 people to choose from and shortly after, hung up in my face. I texted him and told him I’d give him an honest review. Well here it is. This guy was rude and defensive without being provoked.
