Please just save your money and don’t hire this team. We are going to be out more money than necessary by the end of this having to have things redone. Just hire someone else. I will admit that he basically did what we told him to do, however, he neglected to do all the finishing work or really do anything with detail or precision. For example, I was very adamant that I wanted the new wall’s texture to match and he said it wasn’t an issue. He didn’t spray the wall texture as asked. The floor on the shower he installed was not level or smooth and required a lot of work before we could tile it. Lastly, his team left SO much garbage all over the house. Half filled coffee cups mainly, some with tobacco. One of his workers pooped in the toilet and didn’t flush! We were not living in the home at the time and came back to the house 2 months later to find no less than a dozen moldy, nasty coffee cups littering our home, garage and yard. Not to mention the toilet, which needed several flushes and an obscene amount of cleaner. We tried to reach out to him to have one last thing installed (which we thankfully did not pay for) and he just never showed up to do it, despite telling us several times that he would. I really wanted to like his work and his business. If he had shown the respect and care for the job we wanted, we would have given him a lot more work too, just overall disappointing. Edit to add: we are trying desperately to install tile in the shower and not a single wall, floor, or corner is square or level, meaning that it is impossible to install tile without making hundreds of tiny alterations to the tile to get it to fit. Probably going to have to pay to have it redone which means this was a major waste of money.

I want to say I’ve been looking for a construction company to build a deck for over a year, some were very big and we’ll known in Kingsport and surrounding areas. How ever I’m not going to call them out that’s not how I am. But you all know who you are. So here is what happened I asked God that’s right I asked God how something soooo simple be so hard well I was still looking on my phone at that time and low and be hold SIMPLE MAN CONSTRUCTION was the next one. Yes you guessed it I called them Mr. Rodney Powers called me right back we talked he came over but hold your hats he came over the next day WOW!!!! He took me through everything that was needed to be done that same evening.He went thru all the materials that would be needed,and the cost of the labor. Not only that but he took time to come back and went over everything in detail. YUP I hired him on the spot. It has been the GREATEST THING I EVER DID. His employees were very kind and professional they would clean up everything before they left. The lead man on my job was Nick super nice, very detailed on all aspects of the Job and very knowledgeable. Nick went over and beyond the job to MAKE SURE I was satisfied on everything and I do mean everything. I will use them for all my projects. If you don’t call Simple Man Construction you will be sorry. GREAT JOB THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH. Very satisfied customer.

Wonderful experience dealing with Simple Man Construction, they were very professional right from the get go. All the appointments were met right on time, thankfully they did show up when they said they would! David and Amanda went above and beyond in doing the very best job in repairing a roof on my mother’s house. They were very professional and worked diligently until the job was done on a very cold frosty morning! We need more people to be willing to work as they do! Thank you guys!

Really good at things like outdoor patios/stairs. Not so great at finishing touches. I think I could handle all the “little” flaws if my kitchen floor was anywhere close to level. I get sad every time I walk in my kitchen now. I feel like it will affect my resale value quite a bit because no one will believe me that’s it not like a foundation problem or something bigger than just a bad install on an uneven surface.

This company is reliable and trust-worthy. Workers do their job with great skill, swiftness and pride. It was just a pleasure to see the way they went about their work, and even more pleasure the way they cleaned up when they completed a project. I highly recommend them.
