Amazing staff; the whole process as relatively quick and easy. Our finished kitchen, laundry room and office are magazine photoshoot-worthy. They kept to a tight 10-week schedule while delivering superior-level craftsmanship.

Overall dissatisfied with my experience with Mountainwood Homes. First the PROs: 1) People were nice. 2) Design process felt professional. 3) App was intuitive. Now the CONs: 1) Project took twice as long as the contract promised. 2) MWH requires the customer to perform own quality control checks, which became a part time job and was the source of much stress for my wife and I. 3) Home security was not respected, many occurrences of doors and windows being left open or unlocked overnight after workers left (in the winter), sometimes for days/weeks at time. 4) Cleanliness and respect for our home was a constant battle, leaving us spending many many hours cleaning up after various crews. Overall we paid top dollar for a high quality, low touch remodel and it simply was not our experience.

Working with Mountainwood homes on our recent renovation was an outstanding experience! I considered a renovation many times but could never pull the trigger. Enter Mountainwood homes. From the beginning the staff listened to our concerns and presented us with a design plan that addressed our wants and needs with a realistic budget and time frame. Our project was completed on time (3 months ) and on budget. It was a real pleasure to work with such a professional staff from beginning to end. Special thanks to Darby Sargent, Dustin Block and Derek Wood for your efforts to make the project as easy and painless as possible. Outstanding contractor and more! We discovered that MountainWood Home offers more than what a general contractor can. This company takes a comprehensive approach to there business. They have design, electrical, construction, painting, woodwork, building oversight, and more. MountainWood Homes is different from other contractors that we’ve worked with. Though we loved our past contractor, he retired, so finding MountainWood Home was a great find for us.

We did extensive research looking for a custom remodel/builder and we found MountainWood Homes – SO thankful we did!! We wanted a family owned, trustworthy, hardworking, custom company and that’s exactly who they are. The process was easy and exciting, start to finish. From our designer Sierra, project manager Craig, Ammon, office staff, Brian, Justin, and more – everyone was fabulous and truly felt like family. Their communication was top notch, financials, everything was crystal clear. We so happy with our results and can’t wait to use MountainWood again in the future for our second phase in the basement.
