Mario and his team did an excellent job remodeling our master bathroom. He had competitive pricing and great communication. He was great about answering questions, providing recommendations, and very flexible with minor changes we decided on during construction. His crew was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to clean up daily and at the end of the project. I will be using Mario again for any future work and would highly recommend him to others!

We wrote a 5-star review for this company in the past because at that time we were happy with the work Houston Remodeling Services provided to our home. However, months after our last home project(s) (master bath renovation and closet door installation) contracted through this company, we are very dissatisfied. We reached out to the Houston team a few weeks ago regarding the issues we had with their work and were told we would need to wait until at least July for them to come out to our home and make the fix. The issue we requested them to fix is a bi fold door in our nursery that they improperly installed – not a major fix. The door never opened smoothly (it always snagged halfway through closing it – but I chalked it up to the door not the installation). Recently the door mechanisms popped out while opening and then fell off track. After my husband looked at what was left of the door and buying a new kit at Home Depot, he realized half the hardware from the original kit was never put in/door was definitely installed incorrectly. Additionally, regarding the floating floor put in our master bathroom – some of the luxury vinyl tiles lift off the floor (not shift but actually lift up) and the transition strip installed between the bathroom and master bedroom also pops off daily. We had the Houston team resurface our floors last summer which resulted in the interior doors needing to be trimmed and rehung to accommodate the new floor height. My husband had to redo all but one door because of how badly they stuck. Something else that popped into memory, as I type this review – our service date to have our bathroom redone was changed countless times by the Houston team to accommodate other customers — I am not sure why those customers’ satisfaction was valued higher than ours but we were asked to be flexible countless times and we were. So it really should have been a non issue to run out and fix something that was poorly done. I thought long and hard about writing this, feeling quite nervous as I have never written a bad review. However, our nursery door still needs to be fixed. My husband and I have to figure out how to carve time out of work (we are both military so we don’t get a lot of flexibility) to do something we paid someone else to do – ridiculous. We are bummed out – we really wanted to support a local family owned business. But for now on, we will stick to big box stores for service.

Mario was professional and responded to my request for a water softener install quote very quickly. The technician that completed the install, Brian, was very nice and took the time to go over the operation of the unit with me. I will be using Houston Services in the future and referring them to all my clients.

Mario and his team always do a phenomenal job not only for me personally, but for hundreds of our real estate clients. I always know they will be honest, fair on pricing and get it done in a timely manner when we have firm closing deadlines. I highly recommend them on every level!

We had multiple projects that needed done. The two guys that did the work were friendly and professional. The estimator was also friendly and professional. All work was performed at a fair price. I will not hesitate to call them again when the need arises.

Mario has completed several projects for me including installing a new shower and mirror in the master bathroom, replacing sheathing behind the vinyl siding and running underground drainage in the back yard. I have been extremely pleased with the quality and cost of each project. The best part is that I can trust Mario to complete the projects on time and as agreed upon. I truly appreciate his professionalism!
