RMG Construction is my go-to for high quality work that’s done in a timely manner, at a reasonable price. They remodeled my mom and dad’s basement and another property for them, with jaw-dropping results. Completely transformed it, and as a result, we got it rented right away. They know their craft, have the proper credentials, and have many years of experience. They know how to improve the value of your home. They’re dependable, meticulous, and operate with integrity. They are very orderly and leave their worksites clean at the end of each day. They also run a cleaning company, and when I hired them to clean my home, I had never had anyone clean more thoroughly. I highly recommend RMG Construction for both, constructing and for their cleaning.

RMG remodeled our house a few months after we moved in, and managed to do a tremendous amount of work in roughly 2 months right before we were expecting a baby. In the almost year since the work, we haven’t had any issues with any of the huge number of pieces of their project. Overall, their work was fast, they corrected any issues we had as soon as they came up, the quality is high, and they were reasonable and responsive throughout. They were also reasonable on price and during the inevitable change orders as unexpected issues cropped up. Over multiple prior contracting experiences, RMG was the fastest and most responsive I’ve seen. It’s because they are a family business: Mayra manages the projects, and Grean is the primary contractor. Typically, you see your contractor at the beginning of the project and then not again until the end, and they often don’t know what’s going on in between making it a massive headache to get them to look at problems. Since Grean was onsite and performing a majority of the work that took place, we were able to nip any problems in the bud and there were few if any communication issues. Finally, here is a description of everything they did, which spanned structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. First, their affiliated architects put our ideas to paper, pulled all of the permits, and later handled all of the inspections and approvals. RMG then removed about 8 interior walls spread throughout our kitchen, dining room, living room, and entryway to make an open floor plan. As part of this, they did some structural work to reinforce the roof supports. They built an elevated deck with stairs down to the ground, out from our living room where there wasn’t previously an egress, and installed glass deck doors. They cut down a small picture window opening and installed a large new slider. They replaced our front door. They added a mudroom to our entryway. They upgraded our electrical panel to 200A, and ended up having to rewire a large amount of the living space. They installed a dozen or so recessed lights. They rebuilt a bedroom wall to install double glass doors and create an opening more like an office space. They completely replaced our kitchen: doubled the overall size, built and installed all new cabinets, built a custom island, added undercounter laundry, replaced almost all appliances, replaced the plumbing, and tiled the backsplash. They refloored the entire entryway and kitchen with tile. There are probably even more parts to this project I’m forgetting at this point, but they handled each component professionally.

RMG built us a beautiful new closet in a very awkward space in our basement. They responded quickly with an estimate and started the work the very next day. Mayra and Grean were very professional and so easy to work with. The closet is well made and more spacious than I imagined it would be. I am very happy with their work and I am getting ready to use them again for another project. Very trustworthy company.

Bathrooms (All Three) I worked on three bathroom remodels with RMG Construction. This is my first full reno so I was a bit nervous. And not sure if I would find the right company or what the overall design should look like. RMG has worked with me to narrow down my likes and dislikes. They have provided design ideas that work for my bathroom. They have been professional and have worked with me every step of the way. Their support has been phenomenal. They are close knit family company and treat their clients like family. We also worked together to update the outside of my house (painted shutters, new storm door and mulch) which turned out great. Very happy customer.
