We hired LivCo to design and build a 2 story + basement addition with a full kitchen renovation. From our first meeting until the last item on our punch list was completed, the LivCo team was outstanding. We’d recommend them for anyone considering remodeling or constructing an addition. Our 130 year old home was in good hands during our 18 month relationship with LivCo. Their design team listened to our needs and delivered creative solutions. The construction team managers and interior designers were excellent at communicating during the renovation process and providing help as our young family of 5 lived through the construction (with no kitchen for 5 months). When surprises were uncovered, LivCo provided immediate attention to find a solution. The quality of work at all levels was excellent. They are fair, transparent, thorough, thoughtful, and trustworthy. We love our new kitchen and primary bathroom and happy that LivCo was there to guide us on this journey.

To say we’ve been impressed by the work of LivCo is an understatement. After meeting with almost a dozen architects and design-build firms, after the first call with Dave, we knew we had found our partner. His design-forward approach coupled with his amazing project management team (hi, Scott!), made the experience from start to finish an enjoyable one. While there were certainly some unexpected surprises along the way, nothing even remotely close to what Liv could handle. For someone who’s admittedly very difficult to please (as my dear husband can attest), I can’t rave about my experience enough.

We looked at several contractors/design companies before selecting Liv Companies – and couldn’t be happier with our decision! Having an architect & contractor under one roof was a winning combination for our home renovation. Dave (architect) is wildly talented and immediately shared our vision for the home, and helped take it up a notch – delivering a finished product that exceeded our expectations. Russ’s (contractor) expertise and experience helped us along the way in terms of construction, costs & timing and was always on hand to steer us in the right direction. Dave, Russ and the whole team are very professional, experienced and truly care about the quality, design and construction. They helped us find unique solutions that were creative and cost-effective, allowing our budget work harder for us. Thanks to Dave, Russ & team for helping build our dream home 🙂

We love LivCo! We worked with LivCo to do a major addition (adding about 50% to our existing 1925 home) and remodel of about 1/3 of existing living space (including gutting the kitchen and our kids’ bedrooms/bath). The whole project took about 6 months, start to finish, and we lived here throughout. I can’t even describe how amazing it was to work with this team. Perhaps most importantly, the addition is gorgeous and everyone who sees it remarks about how amazingly it blends with the rest of the house. We’re thrilled with how it all turned out! Score 1. Secondly, we knew exactly where we stood on budget at all times. No surprises. We added/changed some things in real-time, so, of course, that had an impact – but we knew what that impact was and had the info to make a decision. Score 2. Third, everyone who worked on our project (and let’s admit it…we lived here throughout…so we got to know everyone well) was incredibly respectful of our home and our family – even the dog 😉 And I also work from home – and they were flexible about how to schedule around some really important calls! Score 3. Lastly, Dave and Russ are just great people to work with. We worked really hard upfront to get the design right. And, the combo effect of having design and build together meant that the kinks get worked out upfront and the budget reflected a complete understanding of what’s going on. That was HUGE. I remember overhearing Dave and Russ having a spirited conversation one day while we were still in the design phase and I was so grateful! It was clear that they were going to work through the best solution for us….and that we didn’t have to be in the middle of it. Thanks, guys!! It was a blast!

LivCo completely reimagined our kitchen & powder room area, and improved the way we use the entire first floor. Their design was something we had never considered but ended up feeling exactly right. The new design incorporates elements of our 1920s house so the new space flows perfectly with the original living areas. From the time we started meeting with the team, they really listened to what we wanted and presented creative options. LivCo went over & above to keep our project going smoothly, even with pandemic-related challenges. The subcontractors they brought in were all very skilled and professional. We really enjoyed working with everyone on the LivCo team. They’re flexible, responsive and just nice people to work with!

We live in a 130+ year old home and hired LivCo to design and build a 2nd floor master suite addition. Dave and crew really understood we were looking for a design that met our needs with keeping the historic appearance of the home in tact. LivCo delivered on all aspects, they were great working with us thru lots of options to make sure they were hitting our design and budget requirements. The 3D modeling they use to walk us inside the designed space was a great tool. Their in house designer Anna was great at doing her homework so she could steer us in the right direction to select the finishes. We lived in the house during the construction and the LivCo construction management team of Scott and Tom were awesome. They did such a great job communicating schedule, working with us on dates when the work would be more disruptive, and really just being extremely friendly with my wife and I, our kids and the old family dog! Scott and Tom always answered the phone and were always very responsive to any questions, concerns or just comments we had. We love our new space, Thank you LivCo!
