W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company 4 years agoI bought a condo at The Palms of Destin last month and my shower started leaking. I spoke with some other owners and evidently when Yates did the job years back they didn’t install the shower pan/“guts of shower” correctly. Several of showers has leaked due to the same reason and I had to hire someone to go in a tear out tile and re-do bottom of shower. I called Yates-and the guy that answered the phone said he would have a supervisor call me back. No phone call. So be aware-faulty work without standing behind it!!! 1700 later, it had to be re-done:(

Renovations by Salt Water a year agoDoss Wallace, GC with Renovations by Salt Water did an amazing job with the renovation of our gulf front 2/2 condo on 30a. He was easy to work with, had great communication, and kept his crew on the targeted timeline without me ever having to say a word. On top of all that, they provided reasonable pricing and stayed on an agreed budget! He was flexible when I made a few upgrades along the way and worked with me to keep the upgrades affordable as well. If you have not done a renovation in the last few years, please take note that it is very rare to find these qualities. The work included a reconfiguration of walls, a new closet for w/d, new floors, new cabinets, countertops, beautiful shiplap ceiling, all new door trim and baseboards, new appliances, ceiling fans, moved and replaced electrical outlets, paint for all walls and trim. They kept the place tidy and cleaned up after themselves throughout the project. I would highly recommend working with Doss at Renovations by Salt Water. They are top notch professionals!
