My wife and I used Elite Kitchen and Bath remodeling for a major remodel of our master bathroom. Elite has an office located in Frisco. We have a large master bath. The remodel involved completely gutting the bathroom, relocating the shower, eliminating the bath tub, and installing all new tile and cabinetry. Here are detail positives and negatives from our experience. The remodel in the end is beautiful and the workmanship is excellent. However due to issues we encountered relating to schedule slips and Elites business practices, I would not use them again and I cannot recommend them. Below are positives and negatives from our experience. Positives: Elite is an established company. They use direct employees or select subcontractors that they use on all their jobs. You will not have random subcontractors showing up with no clue as to what they are supposed to do. There was a dedicated project manager for the job who was on site daily. In our case it was Mark who was fantastic to work with. Elite also provides a designer (Madison in our case) to help with the design and choice of materials and colors. Madison who is also fantastic. Detail drawings of the bathroom are generated and are on site for anyone working to reference. However, there was an error in our drawings that resulted in a significant issue (see below). We are very pleased with the design and workmanship of the completed bathroom. Negatives: – Costs associated with changes. Elite does not provide details to back up costs associated with changes, i.e. material and labor estimates. It was apparent to me that significant overhead and markup is added to the actual material and labor cost. This business practice did not sit well with me, given Elite claims to be transparent with their customers. A customer does not have the option of getting competitive bids for changes and I believe a customer should know exactly what they are being charged for changes – Schedule. Mark the project manager did everything he could to finish the job in a timely manner. However his hands were tied because the primary two man crew only worked 4 – 5 hours per day. These work hours continued even as the schedule for completing the tile was slipping from 4/29 to 5/10. – Accountability. In addition to the schedule, Elite management also did not assume any accountability for an error they made in the drawings for the remodel. We paid the entire cost to have a smaller window manufactured and installed. in order for a cabinet to fit properly. Inspections. Shortly after the project began it was mentioned that the job was not going to be inspected by the city. However, Elites website it states they take care of all required inspections. I raised this issue with Elite and they agreed to have the job inspected. But trying to avoid inspections is another very questionable and concerning business practice.

Thank you to John, Madison and the entire team at Elite Remodeling for the remarkable job on our bathroom upgrade earlier this year. Despite supply chain challenges, holiday scheduling and a few other unplanned obstacles, the end result is simply stunning. The team was very detail-oriented and you can really see it in the finished product. Highly recommend for any remodeling project!

There are no words to say how grateful I am to John Todd and Elite Remodeling for helping my husband and me as a result of our 6 month ordeal. What started out as a simple foundation lift which damaged interior walls and ceilings was multiplied by 6 sewer leaks repairs and a burst pipe. Without our faith in Elite to help us repair and recover, the entire experience would have been devastating to us. We feel so blessed to have found Elite years ago and to have benefitted on four occasions by reaching out to you. I wanted to say that Mark, the project manager, was very helpful and has continued to help us . Manuel, who is a delightful and fine professional, is a real gem. Your company has the best people. I still use Roy for plumbing and Perry for electrical issues. I am also grateful for you and your wise counsel. Thank so much!

The way these guys drive around our neighborhoods should be illegal! Aggressive driving and acceleration from stop signs. Terrible! Update – I just noticed that the owner is claiming he “repeatedly” asked for info from me. How? By just responding to my comment to call him and then claiming it is a random “slam”. I am not commenting on his business – I don’t even know what he does – but I am commenting how he or his people drive around the neighborhood that my grandkids live in.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Elite Remodeling and their team! We utilized them for a master bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, guest bathroom remodel, and basically our entire home! Painting, hardwood floors, staircase, carpet and all new hardware. It was a huge project, but they did it completely on the time line they shared and we LOVE our “new” home. Instead of building another home, by using Elite, we have a beautiful updated home without having to move! You get a team with Elite! John, the owner is wonderful and has integrity and professionalism. Kelli, Madison, Manuel, and Stephen were absolutely the dream team to work with for us. Elite Remodeling was definitely the best choice and so happy with our decision!

This review is long overdue, I hired Elite last year to do a remodel of my master bathroom and I couldn’t be happier. Everything from initial estimate, to design, to final complete project was fantastic. The team does a great job with communication and the quality of work was top notch. I highly recommend them for any remodel project.
