Our bathroom was redone a few years ago. The cabinets are beautiful and the countertops and shower too but the floor tile job was a problem. We could hear the tile crunching as we walked on it. I called, left messages and emailed them about it. One of the contractors came by to pick up some materials they had left and he even said the tiles were loose and were going to be a problem. Standard Kitchen and Bath never called me back. And now the grout is coming out and the tiles are popping even louder as we walk on them. I would post a picture but don’t see how to do that. Later: The owner did finally called me and said that the tilework was subcontracted and that the subcontractor would call me to fix the problem.

Am working with Stephanie on a kitchen design who is very professional and easy to discuss ideas with. Looking forward to the end result. 1 year later and I am over the moon with the kitchen. It is stunning. Minor problems were dealt with immediately. Would highly recommend.

We love the cabinets, the Sole is a great line. The carpenters both the subcontractor as well as (Gary and his assistant) we experienced with installing were meticulous, but fast and great to communicate with. Our experience with the warehouse manager (Arron) was also really great in communication, following up with us on the process of outstanding items and always returned my calls. However, the reason I could not provide a 5 star was the experience with our sales person Kathryn. The communication was like pulling teeth, you never knew if you were going to receive a response. Even if you sent a text you may not receive a response. On a couple of occasions the communications was an e-mail reply with the answer in the subject line and nothing else in the e-mail body. If you like to have all the details explained and written in the contract this will be a challenge. It was very difficult to get items added to the plans so we felt comfortable on what we were receiving and the price of the items. A couple of times there were changes left out from previous updates. When you make changes I recommend you keep really good notes and understand the price changes, the pricing was sometimes hard to follow and we felt we could not trust the pricing changes. Several times we had to have repeat conversation on certain details. As mentioned in other post concerning salesman when she was on vacation there was no back up which ended up working to our advantage, allowing me to move some things forward on my own. I also highly recommend you work with the countertop company individually. Trying to understanding the cost of the tops and backsplash (wanting it itemized) Scott (Manager) on Kathryn’s behalf requested we take our business and conduct it directly with Smokey Mountain Tops. Which we did and it was a much better experience working directly with them. I highly recommend Smokey Mountain Tops. Lastly we always felt our account was just not large enough to be worth her time, often referring to other larger clients.

I am so incredibly pleased with the entire experience with Standard Kitchen and Bath. I contacted them two months before I was ready to move 2200 miles to a home I purchased. As I had the floor plan, Stacy Bussell arranged for Ray Bell to draw up plans for a new laundry room as well as gliding drawers in my kitchen. I had the plans within three weeks. After I approved them, the owner contacted me directly for payment and gave me his direct line if I ever needed anything. Upon arrival, Ray Bell came to my home personally to see if we could also install gliders in my bathrooms. He and I agreed that with the plumbing, the gliders would be impractical and would cut off too much space. It’s very nice to work with a true professional who had only my best interests and needs in mind. I was contacted well in advance of the installation date and they also scheduled Matt Clay to come by my home the day prior to install to measure one more time and confirm everything would fit as designed. Matt was also stellar! He spent all the time needed to ensure the installation would go off without a hitch. The next day, the cabinets and drawers were delivered on time. Soon after, two really great guys (I’m so sorry I didn’t write their names down) did a beautiful job installing everything. I had planned on writing this review soon but what prompted me to do it now is Matt Clay just called to tell me they are going to refund money to me for one drawer that couldn’t be installed in the kitchen due to the stove gas line running through the back of the cupboard! Truly an amazing company. I feel like this review didn’t do justice to how superb they all were. You will not go wrong using Standard Kitchen and Bath. I wish I had more work for them to do. Truly, I do!

My husband & I were referred to Stephanie at Standard Kitchen & Bath by our contractor who’s assisting us with a kitchen & main bathroom remodel. The kitchen remodel in particular was going to be very involved and required thoughtful planning and creativity and Stephanie knocked it out of the park. I had a vague idea what I wanted but no idea how to accomplish the goal of removing a wall yet retaining storage space and functionality in the space we had to work with. Stephanie listened to my random and often chaotic ideas and thoughts with patience and came up with a vision and plan that exceeded my expectations. Everyone we’ve encountered at Standard has been friendly and professional and our experience has been wonderful. Costs and contracts for work are thoroughly explained so there were no surprises. Time estimates for our job have been realistic. But the icing on the cake has definitely been Stephanie, with her a warm personality, great sense of humor & patience throughout our process. Thank you Standard & Stephanie for all the help & professionalism!

Jaz, with Standard Kitchen and Bath, designed our kitchen. She was easy to work with, listened to our needs and made suggestions accordingly. She was very easy to reach any time we had questions. The installation guys were also very professional and quickly got our job taken care of. We are very happy with our kitchen!

I absolutely love working with Standard Kitchen and Bath. I am an independent interior designer, and send my cabinetry designs to them, and they always price, communicate, and respond very promptly. They work with me, and my clients on what looks we want, that reflect their budgets. I have used other cabinetry vendors in town, and have had horrible experiences with quality, installations, or feeling like they have forgotten about me. Standard Kitchen and Bath really cares about their customers, and their products. They have several different lines to choose from, so I never have to look anywhere else. I really enjoy working with them. They make me feel appreciated, they are a delight to work with, and the quality is remarkable.

We are thrilled with the job Standard Kitchen & Bath did remodeling our outdated 1970s kitchen. Our designer, Kendra, was very professional and responsive to any questions we had. We ordered our cabinets right before the supply chain crunch, so we didn’t have to wait as long as some people for them to arrive. Working with the contractor was a dream. As you can imagine, we have an older house, but Danny was able to work with any quirks he discovered along the way, and the end result makes us smile every time we go into our kitchen. We would highly recommend Standard Kitchen & Bath, and will be contacting them again for our upcoming bathroom remodel. Karen B.
