Big Bear was a dream to work with over the course of the six months they were here working on our kitchen, bathroom and a spare bedroom remodels. Their team was fantastic throughout the majority of our projects; highly communicative, detail oriented, reasonable and looking out for our best interests as we tore apart and rebuilt our 100+ year old home. Our projects were by no mean smooth, easy, or problem-free, but Kirk, Travis and the rest of the Big Bear team made discovering setbacks easier to navigate and always provided multiple solutions to correct the situations at hand. Asbestos – check, hidden structural problems from previous owner’s renovations – check, un-permitted work discoveries – check; we really had it all and they were helpful and informative partners at each and every pinch point. If there were ever complaints along the way, it was almost always a matter of issues with material choices or vendors, and I don’t feel this is something BB should be held accountable for. In fact, in several instances, BB went the extra mile to try and resolve issues with vendors on our behalf. We will be working with them again, and have already referred them to several friends and family members.

I had a great experience from start to finish with this company for my shower remodel. All employees were extremely courteous, professional, and kind. They showed up when they said they would and were always available if I had questions (even after the project was completed). It was on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for! The shower turned out beautiful – Dan was our foreman and did stunning tile work. We would gladly use them again for another project.

We are very pleased we chose Big Bear for our bathroom remodel. We had the opportunity to customize the design and are excited with the result. It is most important to note that we were guided along the way in our decision making towards staying within our budget. We were very comfortable having the employees in our home, whether we were present or not. Everyone was very helpful. Whatever we needed and whatever we requested, Big Bear provided it to us. Two examples stand out. One was that we had a pertinent plumbing issue unrelated to the bathroom (that we did not know about), and for a reasonable fee, they fixed it for us. Another is that we had a somewhat embarrassing moment misunderstanding an installed accessory, and after the project was complete, they came over to show us how to properly use it. Just excellent. Yes, there are remodeling companies that cost less, but if you want a stress free experience with maximum customer service, I recommend choosing Big Bear.

Remodeling can be a daunting undertaking. We researched many companies, but after meeting with Rob Young, owner of Big Bear Remodeling, our search was over. Rob explained every step of our kitchen remodel and was available for all our questions and concerns (and yes, there were many!). The electrical, plumbing, finishing, and cabinetry workmanship was superb. When we decided to update our bathroom, it was a no brainer!! Big Bear Remodeling is highly recommended.

We recently had our attic steps remodeled by Big Bear. They were very easy to work with. Their communication is top notch, from weekly schedules to easy to contact site managers it all helped to make sure we were on the same page throughout the process. Everyone on site was kind, communicative and kept my house in great shape during the process. Would highly recommend.

Big Bear remodeled my primary bathroom. At the initial visit the owner Rob sketched a great new plan for the space that no one else could match. The following layout meeting was at my home with the designer, plumbing foreman and Rob. Their knowledge and expertise reinforced my confidence that I had selected the best contractor. Through the planning phase and material selections Rob provided helpful guidance but never pressured. During the project the crew on site was skilled, courteous and dedicated to doing quality work. Communication with the project coordinator, office manager and Rob by text and email was excellent. The transformation of the finished bathroom is remarkable. It is completely revitalized. I highly recommend Big Bear. If I could, I would buy another house just to have Big Bear remodel it.

The entire crew was very easy to work with. They did quality work and were very respectful of our home and work space(s); both my husband and I work from home. The price for the scope of work performed was reasonable, but very professional, at the same time. Communication was very good and our questions/concerns were always addressed in a timely manner. We will be using them again, for future home remodel projects.
