I recently used Kitchen Saver to update the cabinets in my kitchen. I was very pleased with their work and how quickly it was done. Not only does my kitchen look nicer, but so many of the changes are just more functional and efficient.

My wife was attempting to make an appointment for a kitchen to be made over and was refused an appointment since myself her husband would not be at the appt (sales call). We have been married over 30+ years and she has rehabbed more than a dozen homes and this is the first time she has been refused an appt for such a sexist reason. Looks like kitchen savers is not in the current century

Glad we decided to go with Kitchen Saver! Eric our installer we polite, professional and knew what his job was! Our 50 yr old kitchen is now a 2024 kitchen. The quality of the cabinets, counter and of course our installer made the difference! Thank you all so very much.

I’m basing my review on the customer service and not on the product. I had someone come out to my house to give me an estimate on getting my cabinets refaced. They would have replace my doors, built new drawers for me, upgraded my lazy susan, replace the floor under the sink area and do a couple other minor upgrades. They would also supply new hardware. The initial estimate was $20,745, much more than I thought it was going to be. My kitchen is moderately sized and I have a total of 33 doors and drawer fronts. I was offered discounts and it brought the cost down to $16,633. I tentatively signed up with them because there was a first visit discount that was only good that day and it was significant (over $2K), so my thinking was if I decided I didn’t want to do it, I had time to cancel and if I did decide to go ahead with it, all the discounts would still be in place. I quickly found out the next day that buying new cabinets and doing the work myself would be half the price. I called and canceled immediately. The saleswoman was not very happy with me and made a comment about “a lot of wasted time”, which I really didn’t think was an appropriate thing for her to say. If I don’t ask, how am I going to know what they charge? She really didn’t want me to do any more investigating. I had mentioned contacting Lowe’s to see what they would charge and she would say things like, “Well, I guess you’re not ready to do this.” They don’t want you to compare prices. They want you to think that they’re the best option available. They say there’s no pressure, but I felt very pressured. I won’t say it’s a bad product and it might be great for some people, but I still have a master bathroom to refinish and a master bedroom to furnish and only have so much money to spend. I just decided doing as much of the work myself as I can is going to be the most cost-effect solution for me. The refund process was a little convoluted. I was initially told 5 to 7 days to get a refund. When I called the following week to find out what was going on with my refund, one of the ladies I talked to told me it should normally take 48 to 72 hours. I finally did get my deposit back and was very relieved when I did. All I can say is do your homework before you call them for an estimate. Also, make sure you have a full and thorough understanding of the refund process before you sign up.

Thomas Myers, Kitchen Saver Handyman, was very professional, friendly, efficient, organized, punctual, neat, informative, and helpful. Although the kitchen is still a work in progress the cabinets are finished and beautiful. It has been a very pleasant experience. Thank you Thomas for doing such a great job!

“0” stars. I do not normally post this type of comment, but after the phone call I just received with the customer service scheduler for Kitchen Saver, I had to speak up. One of the first questions the young lady asked me “How long you have owned your home?” I told her I have owned my home for seven years. She asked if I was the sole owner, I said yes. Then she wanted to know my husbands name, if I had one … a husband. I only repeated my name. She asked again (like I had not heard correctly), so again, I repeated my name. She was insistent on knowing the name of someone else. I then proceeded to tell her I was offended by her even asking me that question as it had absolutely NO bearing on them giving me a quote on kitchen cabinets. As if I was incapable of owning my own home, they wanted proof of a “man” for what, financial reasons?!? I own my home. Period. Then she said the average baseline for cabinet refacing by Kitchen Saver was from $12,000-$20,000. Seriously? Without even seeing my kitchen or how many cabinets, she said they start refacing at $12,000. Using my own cabinet doors, and only updating the hardware and pulls. Ridiculous. Regardless of the cost, I will never recommend Kitchen Saver based on the line of questioning from one of their employees. I will go visit another cabinet company and hopefully find one that would like my business… with or without a husband. My marriage status is none of your business.
