Spivey Construction has been wonderful to work with and my new kitchen is beyond what I expected. We worked together to build the plan to gut/rebuild, they were great at communications, and had wonderful crews that worked efficiently and well throughout the construction. I now have an incredible kitchen that I will enjoy using for years to come. Thanks, Spivey teams!

We hired Spivey Remodeling to remodel our master bathroom and add a new second story jack and jill bathroom above the master. Spivey did a great job from start to finish. Joe Bailey worked closely with us on the design and specifically finding a way to level out our step-down floor master bath and add value to our home with the new jack and jill bath. When construction began Tim Steill was there for us and onsite every step of the way. The Spivey crew (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.) are very experienced and it shows in the quality of the work done and professionalism. We are very happy with our new addition and would gladly choose Spivey again.

We chose to go with Tim and the team at Spivey Remodeling for a sunroom addition and main floor renovation last year. The Spivey crew, led by Tim as project manager, were great, and we are extremely happy with the results. They incorporated our ideas into the design phase, helped discuss options along the way, and delivered on what we were dreaming of for our home. We would absolutely consider them again for future work.

Chose Spivey because I’ve known of their quality work and for a major remodel, including load bearing wall removal, I wanted it done right. The remodel consisted of turning a kitchen, dining and family room into a single large kitchen/ great room. Extremely pleased with their design and the end result, as well as the manner the work was accomplished. Professional, easy to work with, and their crews were experienced and no concerns giving them unsupervised access to the house. Tim was very attentive and made sure we were happy before calling the job done. Easy decision to use them again next time.

WOW! If you can be patient you will not be disappointed. I have an old farmhouse and Spivey added on to the family room and built a mud room/utility room which also served to connect an existing detached garage to the house. From the designer, Joe, to the demolition, excavation, foundation, framing crews and carpenters these guys are true craftsman. Working on an old farmhouse presents a lot of challenges and unforeseen problems. These guys problem solved each step of the way and tackled each one. The finished project far exceeds my expectations. They seamlessly connected the old part of the house with the new addition. Everyone has commented on how well the new addition blends with the old part of the house. The quality of the workmanship and design are especially evident in the new raised, coffered ceilings and beautiful beams and custom woodwork. Tim Steill was very patient and kind with me and my lack of patience throughout the process. They did finish in the 6 month timeline they quoted. I would highly recommend this group of professionals to anyone.

We had Spivey Remodeling conduct three projects for us. They included an expansion of our home’s footprint to enlarge a family room. This job also including a complete kitchen remodel and adding a full bath for that project.Additionally Spivey Remodeling revised an upstairs bathroom and raised a second floor railing. In each case the quoted price was met and any changes to the plan thoroughly discussed. Their workers arrived on time worked diligently, were trustworthy as well as courteous and professional. Tim Steill was easy to contact and readily available to site visit or discuss concerns and the inevitable delays projects today will encounter. We have recommended Spivey Remodeling to several other people and to my knowledge their experience mirrored ours.

Three years ago we used Tim and the team at Spivey Remodeling to perform a major renovation in our house. I wrote a review at that time on that work. Starting in the 2nd half of last year (2021) we contracted with Tim, Joe B. and the team again to add on a room to our house, basically a sun room for us (by the way, we wouldn’t have thought to use anyone else for this work. We trust this team implicitly). There was considerable demo needed on our north wall where the new room was added. They did as well as possible to keep the dust out of the rest of our house by installing a temp wall with plastic sheeting. Joe B came up with a nice plan to create a room that matched our vision for the new space, which is 18×18’. Lots of windows, high ceilings, and a large fireplace on the north wall. We wanted some separation between our existing great room and the new space, so Joe designed a set of 4 sliding glass doors that slide left and right on the adjoining wall. They allow a lot of light into the rest of the house. Tim H, master carpenter for Spivey, custom-built the entire frame that houses the doors and installed them. This entire feature is simply perfect and the doors work beautifully. Tim is simply terrific and represents, very well, the collection of talented workers that Tim S. uses regularly at Spivey Remodeling. The outside bricks we needed were delayed and when they became available it was too cold to get them on the room, so that wasn’t completed until March. We’re very happy with the new room. Inside and outside pictures are included to show the work. These are great guys to work with and we recommend them very highly.

We moved into our new (existing) home in Sept 2021 and wanted a complete re-do of our fireplace. And a 3rd bay added to our garage for storage space of our lawn and other outdoor equipment. Having contracted Spivey Remodeling in the past at our previous address and being very pleased with their work, we contracted them again for our new home. The old fireplace was stone from top of chimney down to the foundation. The new fireplace is very elegant and a stand out from what it was. The garage addition turned out super! It blends in with the rest of the house and the neighborhood. It looks like it was always there. Thank you to Spivey Remodeling and crew.
