Searching for a kitchen remodeler in Chicago can be very frustrating and time-consuming. With so many kitchen remodeling companies, choosing the right one can be challenging. We were fortunate to have found Assembly Squad for our kitchen and bathroom remodeling in Chicago. From the initial call to the consultation with Tim and Viktor, we felt very comfortable with how they gathered all the information. They took their time to inspect everything and provided us with a detailed proposal that would add value to our condo remodel. We were glad to know that there would be no surprises later on with change orders. They saved us time and money and helped with the design functionality and materials choices, which helped us with decision-making. The construction process started smoothly, and their project manager was there to post the entire schedule on the wall for us. Knowing when it began and the delivery dates for materials delivery, etc, was beneficial. Their team was always organized and ready to answer any questions we had. We recommend working with Assembly Squad. This is our second time using them with successful results. They worked with me as a homeowner and my general contractor to assemble and install our Ikea cabinets. They are professional, experienced, knowledgable IKEA assemblers and installers. Their installers pay attention to the details. Both times we installed Voxtorp matte white cabinets with Maximera boxes. This time we installed in a newly constructed coach house. Viktor and Tim were open to working with our general contractor to ensure the finished product met our vision. As a customer, be prepared to have your materials in order and in the space on time. They have seen it all, so they can anticipate issues given enough lead time. We did have to go back and forth with IKEA once to exchange and acquire a few pieces, and in the end we had some extra parts to return – nothing we didn’t anticipate. IKEA made it easy to make the returns and exchanges. As a homeowner choosing to go this route, make sure you have time to pay attention to the massive inventory of parts. For me, it helped to have a general contractor who was willing to keep an eye on the best way to provide a finished look (especially if you are also installing counters, tiles, appliances that are not IKEA, as we did).

My IKEA kitchen renovation experience with Assembly Squad was wonderful. Tim, Viktor & Victor were knowledgeable, kind and efficient. They also did me an enormous favor by referring me to Flat Pack Kitchen Design to help me come ip with a plan. They did a tremendous job, and I couldn’t be happier with the result!
