This was, by far, the smoothest renovation we’ve ever been through. They quoted us 6-8 weeks to finish our kitchen and ended up finishing in 6. Unlike what another reviewer mentioned, we weren’t required to pay the final balance until our punch list was complete, and they were very quick to address every item on the list. We did have some trouble sourcing a few of the materials we had picked out due to discontinuation, shipping issues, etc., but PKD was quick to help us make new selections, and we are very happy with the kitchen we got. The layout design is so well thought out and the materials and craftsmanship are all quality. Everyone involved was easy to work with. Highly recommend.

They did a great job. I am an hvac contractor and was a general contractor after college so I am very picky because contracting is what I do for a living. I also realize no construction project is ever going to be perfect. However with the way they come into your house do a design and go over it with you in their showroom and then do the work is top notch. No change orders or hidden costs which is rare in this industry. They also stayed on schedule and slightly beat it. I highly recommend them and will refer them to others.

We used Platinum Kitchens for a complete renovation. The appeal of Platinum was an all-in-one kitchen company that specializes in just kitchens. Our initial design consultation consisted of pictures and measurements in our home followed by a design presentation with a CAD rendering on the new kitchen. We were given a quote, start date with an eight week timeline for a functional kitchen. When they explained the payment schedule they made us agree to paying full payment at the end of the construction phase and before all punch list items are completed. This was a red flag to me and I should have listened to my gut. We did all the design selections in-house and that process went relatively smooth. This is done over several appointments. Appliances are purchased by the owner and installed by Platinum during the construction phase. They sent us to NorthPoint Appliance in Alpharetta and they were excellent. The construction phase started on schedule. Our project manager/general contractor assigned to us met with us the first day. During the next 8 weeks we didn’t see much of him in person on the job site. He wasn’t at the house to inspect the work as you would expect. We were left to answer questions from the subs or reach out to him to get the answers. Quality of work ranged from excellent to poor. Some items we were shocked that this was the final product. We were able to get them to fix many of the issues and others they refused to fix. They did deliver a working kitchen at eight weeks as promised but we had an extensive punch list of items that needed to be fixed. After collecting the final payment they assured us they would address these promptly. Our final punch list item was completed 18 months later—RIDICULOUS! In the end they did build us a beautiful kitchen but getting to the finish line was a hassle. The customer shouldn’t have to be this hands on using a full service company. Additionally, the construction quality should have been better on a $75K kitchen renovation project. If we had to do another kitchen renovation we would look to use a different company.

My wife and I decided to endeavor on a full kitchen remodel and I reached out to Platinum Kitchens – and we’re so glad we did! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and as we sit in and enjoy our brand new kitchen, we’ve said many times that if we did it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. Platinum’s process, including professional designers, a design studio which serves as a one-stop-shop for picking out every detail, their scheduling app, and much more – was amazing. Our project manager Kevin communicated every day there was something on the schedule, and with other frequent updates. He was on top of everything. Thank you to our Platinum team of Michelle, Juli, Kevin, and Lauren! We absolutely love our new kitchen!! I would not hesitate to recommend Platinum Kitchens to anyone seeking to remodel their kitchen – just can’t envision a better experience than ours with Platinum.

The kitchen is a dream. Bob adores his new space. We do not even notice the missing window. We have moved most all of the small appliances from the garage into the kitchen and still have unused shelves! Love the countertops. It does not show crumbs. The gray sinks are terrific. They do not show coffee stains or water marks. The appliance garage is a waste. Too small for the toaster or the KitchenAid. Love the drawer microwave with the fold out control panel. Lighting is Wonderful! Love the rollout pantry shelves. It is wonderful to see everything in the drawer. Find the smaller trash can caddy a great space saver. I guess you could say we are over pleased. Sam did an amazing job of visualizing the best use of space and adapting everything to what we had in mind. Even things we would not have thought of. Platinum Kitchens has my highest recommendation. Send prospective clients my way for testimonials, I will keep referring everyone to you. Sincerely, Linda Camp

Our kitchen was 32 years old and we were in dire need of a complete kitchen renovation. After listening to Kevin on 104.7 about Platinum Kitchens we decided to take the plunge and call them. From the 1st initial call, to meeting with designers, general contractors etc. we couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen. PKD did all the work in a timely/professional manner. They kept us updated constantly on which contractor was coming to our home and the approximate time they would be here. I would highly recommend PKD.

Platinum Kitchens knocked it out of the park with our kitchen remodel. From the initial consult, to the design, to picking out cabinets/hardware/counter tops, all the way to demo and construction. They are super organized and do a great job of communication. You always know the day someone is coming, the task they are coming to do and the name of the person coming to do the work. The project manager went above and beyond to make sure we were kept up to date and went out of his way to make sure things were done right. Couldn’t recommend Platinum Kitchens enough!!!!

The employees were professional and design they created was beautiful. The problem is that Platinum told us they do not have a contractors license in Ga and could not pull permits, which is actually untrue. Platinum suggested we pull the permit in our name and the subcontractors would pull theirs under our main permit. According to the city of Johns Creek, homeowners can only pull permits if they are the general contractor, which opens the homeowner up to liability, so we decided to not go forward with Platinum. If your renovation requires permits please ask questions up front. We wish we had.

can i tell you how much i love our new kitchen? we debated, researched, got several estimates and signed on the dotted line with PK&D back in the fall of 2023. now, after living in the finished product for 2 months, we are thrilled with the results. from our first contact with samantha all the way thru the completion, the platinum team was focused on fulfilling my vision. the design team made suggestions, helped talk me back from the ledge, and, most importantly listened. together, we pulled it all together and the company’s process made it easy to check, re-check, amend. our project manager kevin kept us informed and promptly answered our myriad questions. i do not have a single complaint about the quality of work. each and every craftsman that came into our home was top notch–professional, courteous, and skilled. the cabinets were placed expertly. the painter was precise & took pains to match trim colors. the backsplash tile is expertly laid. the space was cleaned up daily and professionally at the end of the job. the punch list was completed promptly. the whole team from start to finish had our back and are so pleasant to work with. remodels are stressful but everyone we worked with at PK&D eased us thru it. and…. we even managed to come in under budget!!! we love the finished project– Platinum made it happen. we are extremely satisfied customers and highly recommend Platinum’s work and their dedication to customer satisfaction.
