I wish our experience was as good as the other 5 star reviews, that’s actually how we found BKC. Our initial design experience was great, but once construction started is where we ran into issues. First and foremost, after coming out multiple times to measure, they told us that we needed to remove or “shave down” a sidewall, which actually didn’t need to be done. Our contractor removed the wall and rebuilt it to their specs, but that wall could have remained and didn’t need to be any smaller. Now because of that, we are unable to install a junction box for our thermostat for our evaporative cooler. This added additional expense to our project, and has ramifications to this day. During the full kitchen remodel, we found ourselves doing the project management. Our rep seemed to be getting annoyed by our questions and anytime we would ask for clarification on something, which usually came from our contractor, it was like we were bothering her. Communication wasn’t the best and we would have to reach out multiple times to get the answer we needed. The whole point to hiring BKC was so that we didn’t have to do the project management aspect. We were told they would work with our contractor, which didn’t happen. All of the information to him came from us and we had to be the ones to reach out, multiple times, to get the answers we needed from her and the responses were often short and vague, which created more questions than answers. The most frustrating part is the wall that we had to remove and rebuild. The entire point of measuring, multiple times, was so that it’s built to spec. Now we have to pay $1,500 more to have our wires rerouted because they told us a wall had to be smaller that actually didn’t. Communication was lacking during the project and we found ourselves managing the project with what I would consider very little guidance from the rep we worked with. While we love our kitchen, the process could have gone much smoother. Of course after the project was completed we were asked multiple times with requests to come take pictures of the final result. That was the most proactivity we saw throughout the project. I wish we could’ve had a 5 star experience, but it simply wasn’t and we are still paying for it today.

We are very frustrated. Met with BKC on Jan 8th. Initially we were super impressed with the designer. She listened to our ideas and came up with great suggestions. On January 24 we went back in for a follow up after I reached out because we hadn’t heard anything. She showed us initial drawings and told me she’d get pricing and drawings over to us soon. We never heard anything. On February 10 I texted again to get updates, to see where we were at with drawings and pricing. No response. And that’s the end of the communication from her. If she decided she didn’t want to work with us for whatever reason, she could have communicated that with us, instead she just stopped answering. Horrible customer service. Now we are back to square one, working with another cabinet company.

We love our new kitchen cabinets. BKC helped us figure out the perfect layout and the right cabinets for us. You can’t tell in the photos here that the island is navy and it is a beautiful color.

Our experience was very positive! We had one cabinet face come in the wrong shade and Gavy corrected the problem quickly. Appreciated her responsiveness. Incredibly happy with the end result!

BKC kitchen and bath have the best cabinets. We used them twice in our custom homes. The 1st time was 13 years ago and the 2nd time was last year. They stay behind their products and are very easy to work with. Candice Hill helped us with our kitchen and bath. Candice’s customer service, especially after purchasing the cabinets, is above and beyond. Whenever there is an issue, she immediately solved it. We highly recommend BKC.

We worked with Peter Von Esten with BKC to completely remodel our kitchen. Peter collaborated well with our interior designer to create a stunning result in terms of style, color, quality and just the right amount of bells and whistles. Peter was always responsive when we reached out and served well as a liaison with all parties involved, including appliance providers, cabinet makers, contractors and service providers. We highly recommend Peter and BKC.

My architect referred me to Jennifer at BKC and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my home building journey. From our first meeting at the show room to follow up meetings, Jennifer was always at the top of her game with wonderful suggestions. She was efficient and timely and a pleasure to work with. The installation team and that process was also seamless. I had a problem with a damaged item and she quickly ordered me a replacement piece. I would use them again!

BKC offers several lines of cabinetry. Their designers are knowledgeable about the products and design elements. Our cabinets at our new home are well made, look great, and have all the features we needed.

Jennifer is an incredibly talented designer and an absolute joy to work with. Danny was meticulous with the install and brought the design to life.
